1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided cardstock for the card base). (The heart design piece is missing from this picture..sorry)
2. Fold the card along score lines.
3. Apply glue the bottom of the side tabs on the card base. Secure by folding upward toward the card base.
4. Glue the large head piece with ear and eye cut outs to the head solid base. Glue the medallion (small circle) onto the combined head shape. Glue the Muzzle piece with holes to it’s solid base.
5. Glue the collar to the combined head shape. Glue the face and chin pieces to the combined head shapes.
6.Using a piece of foam adhesive square, attach the nose to the muzzle combined piece and this combined piece to the combined head piece. Glue the forehead strip on top of the coordinating shape on the face.
7. Insert gift card and attach the head to the card base using adhesive foam squares.
8-9. The paws tuck into the slots on the front. Using a foam adhesive square, attach the heart shape between the paws. Finish with adhesive gems for the sparkle in his eyes and a ribbon:)

  3. i adore this card but have to tell you, for me, the instructions were confusing ( I had a hard time with the eyes) and images were too small to really be able to see well. In the future please make them bigger for us older fans. Thank you Jennifer!

    1. Hi Pat:)
Sorry the tutorial was confusing for you. I always want to make my designs as easy as possible to create. Tutorials, I will admit, are not my strength. I am definitely a visual person and communicating instructions is something that I continue to work on. Do you have a specific question on the construction? Or is there wording that I could change in the tutorial that would be easier to follow so that I can change it for others? Images are bound to a specific size in my blog. I would be happy to send you the picture file through email if that would be helpful. Thank you for your feedback.

  4. Jennifer, it has been a very long time since I have enjoyed making these little dog gift cards. Please Jennifer, when you are sitting around, and that brain of yours is just whirling away.... would you please try to make a bulldog? Thank you in advance for even giving it some thought. Please continue on in this line, and THANK YOU for ALL of them so far!

  7. I LOVE your designs, and have many! I am purchasing this Boston Terrier, and turning it into a French Bulldog for my nephew-in-law (he and my niece just bought one, and he is besotted). Could you please add a Basset Hound for ME?
