Stitched Bird Card

  1. Cut design pieces.
  2. Fold the card at the score lines. Glue the smaller bird wing to the larger one; centering it. Curve the flowers and leaves as you like.
  3. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the smaller bird silhouette to the larger solid bird base; centering it. Glue the beak and feet to the bird base.  Apply glue to the backside of each flower ( just to the inside flower shape) and attach to it’s coordinating shape. ( You may want to make sure you have aligned each flower with it’s base so they are aligned properly. The outside petals should remain free).
  4. Use a foam adhesive square on the backside of the combined wing piece at the separated side and glue at the rounded side. Attach to the combined bird base; aligning at the separated wing end.
  5. Glue the tree branch to the card base.
  6. Glue the combined bird to the card base.
  7. Attach the combined flowers using foam adhesive squares. Glue the leaves underneath the combined flowers. I finished by adding adhesive dots to accentuate the bird’s eye and the center of the flowers:)

Get Well Gift Care Box










Get Well Gift Care Box-JMRush

This Get Well Care Box features two compartments. The top is a tissue holder ( which fits standard long tissue boxes) and the bottom is a drawer that can be used to store cold medicine, cough drops, aspirin, menthol ointment, thermometers, a can of soup and crackers, or whatever you will help your dear one heal from colds or the flu:)  This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock). The Drawer Pieces are not shown in this photo because of the number of pieces. The Drawer construction begins on image # 21.
2. Flip the tissue box top ( with scalloped edge and rectangular cut out) and large rectangle (grouped together) over and fold score lines. Apply glue to the backside of the long tab on the left edge of the large rectangle piece. Align and secure to the straight edge of the tissue box.
3. Apply glue to the backside of the scalloped piece and secure to the coordinating shape on the side flap of the tissue box top.
4. Using the rectangle piece directly above the tissue box top in image #one, flip it over and fold score lines. Apply glue to the backside of the long tab. Align with the combined tissue box top piece’s straight edge and secure into place.
5. Moving to the group with the half moon cut out, flip the design pieces over and fold score lines.
6. Apply glue to the long side tab on the smaller long rectangle piece. Align and secure to the larger long rectangle. (The tab should be on top of the larger long rectangle or inside this box piece:)
7. Apply glue to the backside of the top tab on the combined rectangle piece. Apply glue to the top side of the bottom tab of the square side piece. Slide the square piece under the combined rectangle so that the score lines on both pieces align. Secure into place.
8. Repeat for the bottom square side piece.
9. Apply glue the backside of the side tab on the top square side piece. Secure to the smaller long rectangle piece on the combined rectangle piece making a 90 degree angle. Repeat for the bottom square side piece’s side tab.
10. Apply glue to the very bottom corner of the left side tab on the top square side piece and secure to the long side tab on the rectangle combined piece. Repeat for the bottom square side piece’s left tab.
11. This is what it should look like:) Apply glue to all of the tabs.
12. Secure the combined rectangle box to the combined tissue top piece; aligning with the score line where the tissue box top folds over. Flip the remaining two pieces ( long side pieces) over and fold score lines as shown in images #13 and #14.
13. Top: There should be a tab at the very top and one on the left side of the top long side piece. Apply glue to the backside of the top tab on the combined tissue box piece. Align and secure to the top side of the long side piece.
14. Bottom: There should be a tab at the very bottom and one on the left side of the bottom long side piece. Apply glue to the backside of the bottom tab on the combined tissue box piece. Align and secure to the top side of the long side piece.
15. Apply glue to the top side of the left long tab on the bottom piece.
16. Apply glue to the bottom 3 1/2 inches of the long side piece. Secure to the tab underneath the long side edge of the combined tissue box piece. Secure the 3 1/2 inches of glued side panel to the tissue box. The top tab will fold over the edge of inside edge of the tissue box.
17. This is what it should look like.
18. Flip the tissue box around so that the tissue box top is on the right. Apply glue to the top side of the long right side tab on the bottom piece.
Apply glue to the bottom 3 1/2 inches of the long side piece. Secure to the tab underneath the long side edge of the combined tissue box piece. Secure the 3 1/2 inches of glued side panel to the tissue box. The top tab will fold over the edge of inside edge of the tissue box.


19. -20. This is what it should look like.
21. Now for  the drawer pieces. 
22. Flip over and fold score lines. Apply glue to the backside of the left long side tab on the smaller long rectangle piece. Align and secure to the straight edge of the large long rectangle piece with a half circle cut out.
23. Apply glue to the bottom of the lower tab of the top side piece. Secure on top (top center) of the combined drawer piece. Apply glue to the bottom of the top tab on the lower side piece. Secure on top (bottom center) of the combined drawer piece. check out image #24:)
24. Apply glue to the backside of the right tabs on the top and bottom of the combined drawer piece. Secure to the long panel to the right.
25. Apply glue to the backside of the left tabs on the top and bottom of the combined drawer piece. Secure to the long panel to the left.
26. You should have a open box.

27. Fill the drawer with cold medicine, cough drops, thermometer, menthol ointment, can of soup and cracker, aspirin, etc. What ever will help to heal your sick loved one:) Place a long tissue box in the top compartment and secure the top by tucking the tab in the front.  I finished by adding a ribbon to the front.

Golden Retriever Hug Gift Card Holder

This design features character arms that open to a hidden gift card pocket. This design is perfect for giving gift cards for Birthdays, Father’s/Mother’s Day, a thank you for your vet/groomer, or for any occasion. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats and fits most gift cards.

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock for the card base) ( There is a heart shaped piece in this file that is not shown at the beginning of this tutorial)
2. Fold the card along score lines. Glue the tongue to the backside of the  fullest dog head. Glue this combined head to the dog head base with a collar; centering around the eyes. Apply glue the bottom of the side tabs on the card base. Secure by folding upward toward the card base.
3. Glue the next largest dog head to the combined dog head base; centering around the nose.
4. Glue the next largest dog head to the combined dog head; centering around the nose.
5. Glue the last dog head pieces to the combined dog head; centering them with their coordinating shapes on the combined dog head. Glue the largest dog nose on the combined dog head base.
6. Glue the small dog nose piece on top of the larger one on the combined dog head base. I used small enamel dots to accentuate the dog’s eyes.
7. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined dog head to the front of the card base (make sure not to attach the collar section of the combined dog head, as you will need it to flex a bit when you fold the card). Insert gift card.
8. The hands tuck into the slots on the front. I popped the dog’s collar to the front of the gift card section. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the heart in the center of the hands. Finish with ribbon :)

Monarch Tri-panel Card

The Hummingbird Tri-panel Card features a front cover with a flower design which is bordered by a Monarch Butterfly panel on each side. The card opens to a blank back page (like a regular card). This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock for the flower and the Butterfly)
2. Flip the card base over ( pretty side down). Fold the top score line.
3. Fold the two side panels over at the score lines. Glue the coordinating hummingbird panels on each side.
4. Glue one of the monarch cutout pieces to a monarch solid base. Repeat so that you have two.
5. Curve the flower petals, leaves, and monarch wings as you like.
6. Using pieces of foam adhesive squares, attach the flower petals together starting with the largest on the bottom to the smallest on top-alternating the petals.
7. Glue the combined flower to the center of the front of the card base. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the leaves under the combined flower.
8. Glue the monarch solid base to the coordinating shape on each panel. Glue the monarch cutout piece over it on each side.
9. Glue the bottom of the curved monarch just on the body and antenna to the flat monarch on each panel. (Be careful not to glue the wings down.)
10.-11. Finish with a enamel jewel in the center of the flower:) You an tuck the panels under the flower in the center if you like:) (Please ignore the glue bottle in the picture).

Pomeranian Hug Gift Card Holder

This design features character arms that open to a hidden gift card pocket. This design is perfect for giving gift cards for Birthdays, Mother's/Father's Day, a thank you for your groomer, or for any occasion. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats. Fits most gift cards. 



1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock for the card base) ( I changed the color of the largest dog head piece- I ended up  using the same color as the card base.)
2. Fold the card along score lines. 
3. Apply glue the bottom of the side tabs on the card base. Secure by folding upward toward the card base.
4.Glue the large dog head to the solid dog head base. Glue the two smaller dog heads together- with the smaller one on top.
5. Glue the face to the top of the combined smaller dog head. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the two sets of combined heads together.
6. Glue the nose to the top of the muzzle piece. Use pieces of foam adhesive squares to attach the muzzle to the combined dog head. glue the small eyes into place (optional- I use adhesive jewels at the end of this tutorial:) Glue the narrow hair strip into place on the dog’s forehead.
7.-8.-9.Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined dog head to the card base. Only attach the very top of the backside of the dog head. The head needs to be able to flex in order for the gift card section to fold under as seen in photo #9. Insert gift card.
10.-11. The hands tuck into the slots on the front. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the heart in the center of the hands. Finish with ribbon and add adhesive jewels for the eyes:)

Get Well Soon Bandage Bag


Get Well Soon Bandage Bag-JMRush
Approximate Bag size: W 4.25” X D 3” X H 7.25”

This file is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.  



1. Cut design pieces.
2. Flip your bag base over ( pretty side down on both pieces )and fold the score lines. Glue the lettering to the lettering base. Glue the bandage piece with holes to the bandage base.
3.  Apply glue to the bottom of the long side tab of the longest bag base piece. Secure to the clean edge of the other bag base piece.
4. Apply glue to the bottom side of the tab to the right of the tab you just glued.  Secure to the rectangular shape just below and to the right of the tab.
5. Apply glue to the bottom side of the tab to the left. Secure to the rectangular shape to the right.
6. Apply glue to the bottom side of the last lower tab and to the remaining long side tab. Secure to the bottom and to the other side panel creating a box.
7. Attach the center of the bandage with a foam adhesive square.
8. Attach the combined bandage to the bag with foam adhesive squares. Glue the lettering to the bag.
9. Finish with a ribbon and fill with goodies:)

Lilac Design Cut Card

This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats and can be used horizontally or vertically.


1.Cut design pieces.
2. Fold the card base. Glue the large solid flower silhouette (green) to the front of the card.
3. Glue the cut out flower piece (dark purple) to it's matching base ( light purple).
4. Attach the combined cut out flower piece to the large solid flower silhouette on the front of the card using foam adhesive squares.

5. Finish with enamel dots to decorate the center of the flowers.

  1. Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock for the card base)
  2. Fold the card base. Glue the largest dog silhouette (solid) to the coordinating shape on the front of the card base.
  3. Glue the smallest dog silhouette to the largest dog silhouette on the front of the card base. 
  4. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the last dog silhouette to the top of the combined dog silhouette. Glue the collar on. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the ear. Use a adhesive enamel dot for the nose:) 

Scottish Terrier Card

  1. Cut design pieces. ( I changed the color of the collar to match the inside color of the card)
  2. Fold the card base. Glue the largest dog silhouette (solid) to the coordinating shape on the front of the card base.
  3. Glue the smallest dog silhouette to the largest dog silhouette on the front of the card base. 
  4. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the dog silhouette with one ear to the top of the combined dog silhouette. Glue the collar on.
  5. Use a adhesive enamel dot for the nose:) 


Poodle Card

  1. Cut design pieces.
  2. Fold the card base. Glue the largest dog silhouette to the coordinating shape on the front of the card base.
  3. Glue the dog silhouette without a mouth to the largest dog silhouette on the front of the card base. Glue the small circular leg poms to each leg on this piece.
  4. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the dog silhouette with a smile on top of the combined dog silhouette.
  5. Glue the head pom and tummy pom to the combined dog silhouette. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the ear, tail pom, and top leg poms. Glue the collar on.
  6. Use a adhesive enamel dot for the nose and adhesive jewels to decorate the collar:)

  1. Cut design pieces.
  2. Fold the card base. Glue the largest dog silhouette to the coordinating shape on the front of the card base. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the dog silhouette with a smile on top of the dog silhouette without the smile.
  3. Glue the small ear to the top of the larger ear. Glue the collar to the combined dog silhouette.
  4. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the combined ear to the combined dog silhouette. Glue the combined dog silhouette to the large dog silhouette on the front of the card base. 
  5. Use adhesive dots for the nose and eye:)

Iris Fence Card

This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats. Design elements can be used independently. 


1. Cut design pieces.
2. Glue the fence to the cover of the card base. Glue the full flower petal shape to the flower base. 
3.  Curve the leaves of each combined flower. Using pieces of foam adhesive squares, attach the double flower petal shape to the combined flower pieces. Using pieces of foam adhesive squares, attach the single flower petal.
4. Use foam adhesive squares to secure the top back of each flower to the card base. Glue the stem/leaf section of each flower to the card base.
5. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the grass to the front of the card.
6. Fold the score line on the card base:)
