Snowflake Tri-Fold Gift Card

Snowflake Tri-Fold Gift Card-JMRush
Card size: 5” x 3”

This card features a cut out on the card base and when vellum paper is used, a layered transparent effect is created. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

  1. Cut out all design pieces.
  2. Fold all score lines.
  3. Apply glue to the edges and very center of the snowflake top panel. ( the glue will show through the vellum if glue spreads else where)
  4. Secure the full circle vellum piece centering it around the circular snowflake design on the top panel. 
  5. Glue the top panel onto the top of the card base.(The vellum circle should be in between the two sections.
  6. Apply glue to the center of the vellum circle on the top side or use a foam adhesive square in the center ( which is what is shown in the example image).
  7. Secure the large snowflake to the center. I added an adhesive dot to decorate the center of the snowflake.
  8. Glue the middle section and bottom section in place.
  9. Apply glue to the very edges of the gift card section. (Be careful to only glue the edges or your gift card section will not function properly).
  10. Secure to the card base.
  11. Using foam adhesive squares or glue, secure the two smaller snowflakes to the front of the gift card section. I used two more adhesive dots for the centers.
  12. Ta Da! Your card is done:)

Valentine Tri-Fold Card

  1. Cut design pieces.
  2. Fold the card at the score lines. Glue the rectangle to the center of the card base.
  3. Apply glue to the backside of the heart cut out piece- careful to not apply glue to the open areas that hang over the card base.
  4. Glue to the front of the top flap.
  5. I used enamel adhesive dots to finish the card.
  6. The point of the heart cut piece fits inside of the slot on the bottom flap to close:)

Heart Tri-Fold Card


Heart Tri-Fold Card-JMRush
Card size: 5” x 3”

This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.




  1. Cut design pieces.
  2. Fold the card at the score lines. Glue the rectangle to the center of the inside of the card base.
  3. Glue the largest triangle piece to the front of the top flap.
  4. Glue the second largest triangle above the largest.
  5. Glue the smallest triangle above the second.
  6. Apply glue to the backside of the heart cut piece (careful to not apply glue to the open areas that hang over the card base).
  7.  Center and secure into place on the front of the top flap on top of the triangles you just placed.
  8. The point of the heart cut piece fits inside of the slot on the bottom flap to close:)

Santa Ho Ho Tri-Fold Gift Card

  1. Cut out all design pieces.
  2. Fold all score lines.
  3. Apply glue to the edges of the inside of the top and apply the top panel.
  4. Apply glue to the very outside edges of the gift card section. ( If your glue gets too far inward, your gift card section will not work properly).
  5. Secure the gift card section to the base and the large rectangular piece in place.
  6. Glue the buttons on the top of the gift card section and Glue the lettering onto the lettering base.
  7. Apply glue to the rectangular buckle and position it on the triangular point of the top of the card base.
  8. I used foam adhesive squares to attach the optional “Ho Ho” words to the front.
  9. Ta Da! Your card is done:)

Joy Pine Cone Tri-Fold Gift Card Holder

  1. Cut out all design pieces.
  2. Fold all score lines.
  3. Apply glue to the edges of the inside of the cut outs on the top..making sure that your glue does not show through the front.
  4. Secure the top panel. 
  5. Apply glue to the edges of the panel you just placed.
  6. Secure the scalloped edge triangular piece.
  7. Apply glue to the bottom section on the inside of the gift card section. (make sure your glue does not show through the cut out on the front) 
  8. Secure the bottom panel to the base.
  9. Apply glue to the very outside edges of the gift card section. ( If your glue gets too far inward, your gift card section will not work properly).
  10. Secure to the card base.
  11. Glue the center of a leaf piece to each of the pinecones.
  12. Attach gem to the center of each leaf piece.
  13. Apply glue to the back side of your rectangular piece and secure into place.
  14. Attach the center of the remaining leaf pieces to each of the pine cones on the front. (I used three little adhesive gems to decorate the tops of my pine cones.) Glue the lettering to the lettering base.
  15. Center that lettering to the front and glue into place. (I used foam adhesive squares to attach the lettering to the card base).
  16. Ta Da! Your card is done:)

  3. Flipping your card over, Glue the bottom panel to the inside of the gift card section. (make sure your glue does not show through the cut out on the front)
  4. Apply glue to the very outside edges of the gift card section. ( If your glue gets too far inward, your gift card section will not work properly).
  5. Secure to the card base.
  6. Apply glue to the edges of the inside of the cut outs on the top..making sure that your glue does not show through the front.
  7. Secure the top panel.
  8. Apply glue to the back side of your rectangular piece and secure into place.
  9. I used little adhesive gems to decorate the tops of my trees:)
