Vampire Gift Tag Ornament




Vampire Gift Tag Ornament-JMRush

Approximate Size: W 3.25” x H 4.5”


This simple to construct design would be perfect to label your goodies for Halloween parties. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1. Cut the design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)

2. Glue the hair piece to the coordinating shape on the round head piece with eye mouth cut outs. Glue the hands to the coordinating shapes on the tag base. Glue the white collar sleeve piece in place on the combined tag base. Glue the tiny oval to the nose base; aligning at the top.

3. Glue the combined nose to the head piece. Glue the bow tie and buttons to the tag base.

4. Place the combined head over the tag base aligning at the top and sides of the coordinating shape. Using a pencil, mark where the eyes should be places.

5. Remove combined head and place enamel jewels on the pencil marks. (I added a ribbon over the bow tie and adhesive jewels over the buttons.)

6. Attach the combined head with adhesive foam squares.

7. This is what it should look like:)

8. Flip the design over and glue the white body shape into place so that you have a place to write (optional).

 

Black Cat Open Mouth Treat Box

Approximate Size: W 5” x D 1.25”x H 5.5”

Approximate Box size: W 2.5” x D 1 x H 4” 


This box opens by lifting the character’s head to to expose the opening to the treat box. This simple to construct design would be perfect to hold your goodies for Halloween or birthday parties. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1. Cut the design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)

2. Fold the box and Mouth base at the score lines.

3. Glue the pink mouth piece (with holes) to the coordinating shape on the mouth base;aligning at the inner oval cut out shape.

4. Use pieces of foam adhesive squares to attach the teeth shapes to the coordinating shapes on the combined mouth base.

5.  Glue the two tiny oval white pieces to the coordinating shapes on the eyes. This is what it should look like:)

6. Flip the mouth base top over, like so. Glue the Cat head to the coordinating shape; aligning at the top of the ears.



7. I used an orange marker on the edges of the cat eyes. Glue the cat eyes into place.

8. Place the Cat nose on the cat face to find placement and then remove.

9. Cut thread ( approximately three strands of 4inches).

10. Attach the threads with glue to the area you picked to place the Cat nose. Allow to dry.

11. Using a foam adhesive square, place the Cat nose on top of the threads.

12. I used adhesive jewels to accent the eyes.


13. Apply glue to the small vertical side tab at the left side of the bottom of the box base.

14. Secure the small vertical side tab to the 1 inch (width) rectangles just above. 

15. Apply glue to the very left vertical tab, the horizontal tab, and the side tab on the bottom right and attach the side and bottom of the base…wrapping it crating a box.

16. This is what it should look like:)

17. Tuck the tab into the slot on the top.

18. Flip the box base over and apply glue to the area just outside the oval cut out.



 19. Attach the combined Cat head; centering it around the cut out oval shape and allow to dry.

20. I finished by adding a ribbon and filling with fun sized candies.

Mummy Candy Keeper

Approximate size: W 6 x D .75 x H 4.5”


This design features a character head and hands that covers a shallow bin that is designed to fit regular sized candy bars up to 6 inches long or small treats. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock paper)

2. Fold the keeper base at the score lines. Glue the small hands to the larger design piece hands; centering and lining up at the wrists. Glue the mummy wrap face to the skull shape; centering.

3. Apply glue to the front tabs in the front of the keeper base and attach to the front rectangle shape as shown. Hold until secure.

4. Apply glue to the second back set of tabs and glue to the backside of the keeper forming a box.

5. Your keeper base should look like this:)

6. Flip the skull and hands down over the box. Apply glue to the backside of the combined mummy skull and combined hands and attach to the coordinating shape on the keeper base. 




 7. Apply glue to the backside of the eyes and attach to the coordinating shapes on the combined keeper base.

8. Flip the keeper base over. Apply glue to the script and attach to the backside of the keeper base.

9. I finished this design by adding candy and a ribbon:)

Hummingbird Lantern (Flameless)



Hummingbird Lantern (Flameless)-JMRush

Approximate Lantern size: W 3 x D 3 x H 7.5” (H 8” with Circle Hanger)


This Flameless lantern features a hummingbird design which is wrapped around each of the four sides. A layered transparent frosted effect is created when vellum paper is used. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock and vellum paper)

2. Flip the two lantern pieces over ( pretty side down) and apply glue around the inner edge of the opening and attach the vellum rectangles. ( Helpful hint:You may need to place a heavy object (book) on top of the vellum to keep it from getting wavy while drying).

3. Apply glue to the circle hanger hanger and attach to the top of the second and fourth peak on the lantern base as shown. ( Makes sure that both are placed symmetrically in height).

4. Flipping the combined lantern bases over, apply glue to the backside of the green hummingbird panels and align over each silhouette window on the combined lantern base.

5. Apply glue to the backside of the side view flower and attach to the coordinating shape on the combined lantern base.

6. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the hummingbird silhouettes to the hummingbird window panels; aligning with each coordinating shape.



7. Apply glue to the backside of the combined hummingbird window panels and attach to the coordinating shapes on the combined lantern base.

8. Apply glue to the long side tab on the right hand side of the second combined lantern base.

9. Attach the first combined lantern base on top of the second combined lantern base’s tab and secure (joining the two base pieces). Make sure the panels are aligned at the bottom. Glue the last purple flower piece to each coordinating shape on each panel.

10. Fold the lantern base at the score lines. Apply glue to the first combined lantern base’s long side tab on the very left side. Secure the long side tab to the other side creating a box.

13. Apply glue to the top tab with the circle hanger and secure it to the triangular panel to it’s left side.

14.-18. Repeat for the next tab. Continue applying glue to the top tabs until the top is complete. Apply glue to the other side of the circle hanger piece and secure to the opposite side inside the lantern.



19. I use a long object (pencil) to help secure the tabs from the inside of the lantern top.

20. Curve the flower petals and leaves as you like.

21. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the purple flower to the black flower base; alternating the petals.

22. Repeat for the silver flower to the combined flower. Glue the inside tiny green flower shape to the inside of the combined flower.

23. Glue the leaves on the back of the combined flower.

24. Using a foam adhesive square, attach the combined flower to the lantern on the side which has the circle hanger facing you.



25. Fold the score lines on the lantern square base.

26. Apply glue to the top two tabs of the Lantern square base and secure to the inside of the sides.

27. Repeat for the bottom two tabs creating a shallow box.

28. It should look like this:)

29.-30. Place a flameless candle inside and the lantern top in it’s base.( I used a W 2.75” x H 4” pillar flameless candle).

1. Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock any glitter card stock)

2. Flip the card base over as shown. Glue the white square to the center panel and secure until dry.

3. Apply glue to the top panel around the words. Secure the glitter square pretty side down and secure until dry.

4. Fold score lines. Fold side tabs in toward the center. Apply glue to the side tabs on either side of the bottom panel. Fold the bottom panel toward toward the center panel and secure until dry. This will create a pocket.

5. Insert gift card or money.

6. Your card is complete:)

Bunny Boy Girl 3D Stand Up

This cute Bunny decoration stands independently. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats. A complete step by step picture tutorial can be found on my blog.

1. Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock. This tutorial shows both the boy and girl bunny)

2. Glue the bunny with cutouts to the bunny base with whiskers.

3. Flip the combined bunny over and glue the solid bunny to the combined bunny. Glue the orange carrot to the carrot base.

4. Glue one of the jumpers to the combined bunny base.

5. Flip the combined bunny over ( right side up). Fold the six bunny tummies at the score lines.

6. Apply glue to one side of one of the tummy pieces and attach another tummy piece aligning the edges.

7. It should look like this.


8. Continue glueing tummy pieces until you have three in each group. Two groups.

9. It should look like this.

10. Find the two tummy pieces that are single layer and apply glue to the backside.

11. Attach the combined tummy piece to the combined bunny base aligning at the bottom. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the combined carrot and the bowtie (hair bow for the girl)

12. Flip the combined bunny over and glue the last combined tummy to the backside.

13. The Girl bunny’s collar is attached by pieces of foam adhesive square and the tiny blue dot is glued to the center of the collar.
