Vampire Handle Basket


 Vampire Handle Basket- JMRush 
Approximate Box size: H 2.25” X W 3” X D 2.25”
Approximate Design size: W 6” X H 5.5” including handle

This cute Vampire basket design is a perfect container for Halloween party favors. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

  1. Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock) ( The red Bow tie piece is not shown in the beginning of this picture tutorial…sorry)
  2. Glue the face piece with cut outs to the solid face piece; aligning at the bottom. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the heels of the shoes to the coordinating shapes of the shoe bases.
  3. Glue the whites of the eyes and the fangs into place on the combined face.
  4. Glue the white curved cuffs to the top of the hands; aligning on the top edges.
  5. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the combined face and combined hands to the basket base. ( The head aligns with the top of the basket base). Glue the red bow tie under the head and in-between the hands; centering it.
  6. Flip the combined basket over. Fold the basket base at the score lines. Apply glue to the bottom two tabs on the basket base and secure to the Vampire shape below.
  7. Apply glue to the top two tabs on the basket base and secure to the rounded shape above creating a box.
  8. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the combined shoes to the rounded side of the basket.
  9. Insert the handle on either side of the basket.
  10. Finish by adding a ribbon for the bow tie and adding adhesive enamel dots to accentuate the eyes:)

3D Hanging Bat



3D Hanging Bat-JMRush

1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)
2. Fold all score lines. Glue an open centered circle to the coordinating shape on the spider base on the front side and glue the other to the back.
3.-5. Apply glue to one side of the folded bat body piece. Attach one side of another bat body; aligning at the edges. Repeat. You will have combined four bat body pieces together.
6. This is what it will look like:)
7. Glue the combined body piece to the bat base at the coordinating shape; aligning the edges. Combine the other four bat body pieces as you did above. 
8. Glue to the backside of the bat base; aligning at the edges. This is what it should look like:)

9. Lace a string through the top hole. Tie the string. Cut the excess string and finish by curving the wings:)

Bat 3D Stand Up

This cute bat decoration stands independently. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1. Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock) 
2. Fold each of the 6 tummy shapes at the score lines. Glue bat piece with a face to the solid bat silhouette base.
3. -5. Glue the eyes and mouth into place. Apply glue to the backside of one side of the folded tummy shapes. Line up the back of another tummy shape and align at the edges. Continue this step until all the tummy shapes have been joined.
6. Apply glue to the backside of the combined tummy shapes. Attach to the combined bat; aligning at the bottom edge:)
7. Finish with a ribbon and adhesive enamel dots to accentuate the eyes:)

Bat Hug Treat Box

This treat box features character arms that open to a small treat box. This design is perfect for Halloween parties or for your special trick or treaters. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock for the box base).
2. Glue the Bat head to the coordinating shape on the box base.
3. I used enamel dots to accentuate the eyes and then used foam adhesive squares to attach the eye shape to the box base; centering and aligning with the coordinating shape. Glue the mouth the to the coordinating shape on the box base.
4. Fold the box base along score lines.
5. Apply glue to the two top tabs and secure them to the top (head) panel.
6. Apply glue to the bottom two tabs and secure them to the bottom panel creating a box.
7. Apply glue to the bottom tab of the center narrow strip section. Secure the center narrow strip tab to the backside of the inside of the box.
8. Glue the hands to the coordinating shapes on the box base hands; aligning with the edge of the box. The hands tuck into the slots of the center strip:)
9. Apply a small line of glue on the top inside edge of the wings and attach to the backside of the box; aligning with the bottom and the edge of the box base:)

Bat Treat Box

This treat box design has an attached lid and is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

  1. Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)
  2. Flip the box base over like shown (pretty side down). Fold the box base score lines. Apply glue to the backside of the tab on the bottom right. Attach to the upper panel to the right.
  3. Apply glue to the backside of the tab on the bottom left. Attach to the panel to the left.
  4. Apply glue to the long vertical tab on the left and to the bottom horizontal tab. Attach to the panel to the right. Your box will be complete.
  5. Tuck the tab into the slot in the back. Glue the eyes to the solid eye base.
  6. Glue each of the Bat’s wings to the edge of the back side ( with the tab/slot at the top)
  7. Glue the bat’s ears to the backside corners of the box.
  8. Attach the combined eyes to the front of the treat box with pieces of foam adhesive squares. Glue the mouth into place.
  9. I used enamel dots to accentuate the eyes. Fill with goodies:)

Baseball Treat Box Two Ways

Approximate Box size: W 3” X D 2.5” X H 2.5” (H 5.5” with Handle)

This Treat box features a Baseball Bat shaped handle, a print and cut baseball design, and a paper piecing baseball. This file is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats. 




1. Cut design pieces.
2. Fold the score lines on the box base.
3.  Apply glue to the bottom of the top two tabs. Secure to the circular shape just above the tabs.
4. Apply glue to the tabs just below.  Secure to the circular shape just below the tabs.
5. You now have a box shape. Glue the baseball bat shape to the bat shaped handle. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the print and cut baseball or the paper piecing baseball to each side.
6. Insert the handle tab through the top slot on the side of the box. Repeat for the other side.
7.-8. Finish with a ribbon and fill with goodies:)

1. Cut design pieces.

5. You now have a box shape. Glue the baseball bat shape to the bat shaped handle. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the print and cut base to each side.
6. Insert the handle tab through the top slot on the side of the box. Repeat for the other side.
7.-8. Finish with a ribbon and fill with goodies:)

Bat Envelope Pouch

Bat Envelope Pouch-JMRush
Finished Pouch Dimensions: 
W 3” x H 5.25”

Fill this cute little Bat pouch with your favorite candy bar or use it as a  cutlery holder for your Halloween party. The pouch’s super easy construction makes it perfect for classroom or Halloween parties. This design is compatible with 8x12 or 12X12 mats.

  1. Cut the design pieces.
  2. Pre-Fold all score lines.
  3. Apply glue to the tabs of the pouch base on each side.
  4. Secure the tabs to the lower flap of the pouch. 
  5. Glue the eye piece to the solid eye piece. 
  6. Apply glue to the front inside edge of each wing (scalloped edge down).
  7. Secure each wing to the back side of the pouch.
  8. Apply glue to the bottom backside edge of the bat ears and secure onto the top of the front layer of the pouch.
  9. Using foam adhesive squares secure the eye pieces onto the front of the pouch.
  10. Glue the Bat’s smile into place and TA DA! Your bat is ready to be filled with goodies or used as a cutlery holder for your Halloween parties.

Bat Slider Hatch Treat Box

Finished Box Dimensions (approximate)- W 2” x H 4” x D 7/8”

This little Bat treat box is perfect for classroom parties. This treat box has a hatch opening and will hold 3-4 “mini” candies. This design is compatible with 8x12 or 12X12 mats.



  1. Cut the design pieces.
  2. Pre-Fold all score lines.
  3. Apply glue to the tabs on each side.
  4. Secure the tabs to the inside of the lower box tabs creating a half box.
  5. Apply glue to the outside of each side of the half box.
  6. Secure to the inside of the side panel on each side.
  7. Place the pointed tabs on the upper section through the slot of the inside wing piece. Make sure that the tab is on the outside of the wing piece.( you will need to bend the pointed tab a bit to get it into the slot)
  8. Repeat on the other side.
  9. Glue the upper section’s wings to the box base ( careful not to glue the tabs. They must remain free for the hatch to open properly.)


10. This is what you box should look like.
11. Apply a dab of glue to the upper edges of the wing section on each side -again being careful not to glue the tabs.
12.Apply glue to the forward facing edges of each bat wing. Scallops down.
13. Glue the eyes into place.
14. Glue the ears and smile into place.
15. Ta Da! Your Bat is complete:)
