Ice Skates Sled Ornament Gift Tag



Ice Skates Sled Ornament Gift Tag- JMRush 
Approximate size: W 2.75” X H 6”

This design file is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats and can be used as a gift tag and or an ornament.

1. Cut design pieces. ( I used doubled sided card stock)
2.  Flip the ornament base over and glue the coordinating gift tag (white) to it. Glue the wood plank pieces to the coordinating shapes on the sled base. Glue the ice skates shoes and blades to the coordinating shapes on the ice skates solid bases. Curve the branches of the two wreath pieces.
3. Adjust the smaller wreath to set as you like on top of the larger one. Apply glue to the very inside ring of the bottom wreath and secure the smaller wreath on top. Glue the thin small red piece to the center top of the combined sled.
4. Use a foam adhesive squares to attach the combined sled to the front of the ornament base; centering it. Use a foam adhesive squares to attach the combined wreaths to the front of the combined sled.
5. Using a large gauge thread or small width ribbon, tie two bows and cut a three inch piece. 
6.-7.Glue one thread bow to each ice skate and glue the ends of the 3” thread to the backside of each ice skate ( I used hot glue for this).
8. Loop the thread of the ice skates around the center branch of the combined wreath. Glue into place if you like.
9.-10.  Finish with a ribbon:)

1. Cut design pieces. I used double sided card stock:)
2.. Glue each ski to the squirrel base piece.
3. Glue the large squirrel piece to the coordinating shape on the combined squirrel base piece. 
4. Glue the small squirrel body piece (with no arms) to the combined squirrel base piece. 
5. Glue the tip of the single ski pole to the combined squirrel base at the coordinating shape. Tuck the single ski pole under the arm of the last squirrel body piece and glue to the combined squirrel base piece.
6. Glue the scarf, nose, and small black ski foot loops to the coordinating shape on the combined squirrel base.
7. Glue the head to the combined squirrel base piece.
8. Flip the combined squirrel over and glue the white gift tag backing (squirrel shaped).
9. I used adhesive enamel dots to accentuate the eye and looped ribbon through the ornament loop at the top.

10.-11. I finished with a bow and a button at the top:)

1. Cut design pieces. ( I used doubled sided card stock)

  1. Cut Design pieces.
  2. Glue the roller skate shoe shapes to the coordinating shapes on the gift tag base; aligning the holes. Glue the open circle shapes to the solid circle shapes; aligning at the center bottom. Glue the two small stoppers to the two larger ones; centering them. Glue the  two open half circle pieces to their coordinating solid shapes; aligning at the center bottom. Glue the two small circles to their larger solid circle bases. Glue the small oblong circle to it’s coordinating shape; centering it.
  3. Glue the combined circles to the wheels; centering them. Glue the combined oblong circle shape to the center of the combined rounded triangle wheel; aligning at the top.
  4. Glue the combined rounded triangle wheel to the coordinating shape on the gift tag base. Glue the other odd shaped combined wheel to the coordinating shape on the gift card base. Glue one of the combined stoppers to the first roller skate on the left of the gift tag base.
  5. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the other stopper and two combined wheels to the gift tag base.
  6. Flip the combined roller skate over and glue the double roller skate shape on; aligning the holes. Glue the small open circle shape to the coordinating shape on the gift tag base to help reinforce the circular hanger.
  7. Flip the gift tag back over. Cut two strands of approximately 21” of 1/8” ribbon (or smaller). Loop the ribbon through the bottom eyelet of one of the skates. Pull the ribbon so that the ends are even each side. Repeat for the other skate.
  8. Thread one side of the ribbon through each eyelet. (I heat sealed and pinched the ends of the ribbon to make the lacing process easier:)
  9. Repeat with the other side of the ribbon threading the opposite way as before ( under or over the top of the card). Repeat for the other skate.
  10. Tie your both ribbons and add a looped ribbon at the top for a hanger.

  1. Cut Design pieces. (I used double sided card stock) - (I added extra circular details to the wheels while constructing this tutorial. They would probably be easier to add to the wheels before attaching the combined wheel to the card base:)
  2. Glue the roller skate shape with holes to the coordinating shape on the front of the card base. Glue the open circle shapes to the solid circle shapes; aligning at the center bottom. Glue the small stopper to the larger one; centering it.
  3. Attach the combined wheels and stopper to the coordinating shapes on the front of the card base using foam adhesive squares.
  4. Fold the combined card. Open it so that the inside of the card is showing. Glue the solid shoe shape to the inside of the card.
  5. Flip the card back over so that the front is showing. Using approximately 22” of 1/8” ribbon (or smaller) loop the ribbon through the bottom eyelet of the combined card. Pull the ribbon so that the ends are even each side. (I heat sealed and pinched the ends of the ribbon to make the lacing process easier:)
  6. Thread one side of the ribbon through each eyelet. 
  7. Repeat with the other side of the ribbon threading the opposite way as before ( under or over the top of the card)
  8. Tie your ribbon.
  9. Glue the small solid circles to the larger solid circles; centering them.

Stacked Winter Squirrel Ski Card

1. Cut design pieces. (There is an additional nose piece not shown in this tutorial) ( I ended up using a textured/marbled brown card stock for three of the four squirrel body pieces)
2. Fold the card base. Glue the skis to the squirrel base piece.
3. Glue the large squirrel piece to the coordinating shape on the combined squirrel base piece. 
4. Glue the small squirrel body piece (with no arms) to the combined squirrel base piece. 
5. Glue the tip of the single ski pole to the combined squirrel base at the coordinating shape. Tuck the single ski pole under the arm of the last squirrel body piece and glue to the combined squirrel base piece.

  1. Cut Design pieces.
  2. Glue the ice skate shapes to the coordinating shapes on the largest ice skate shape.
  3. Flip the combined ice skate over and glue the last ice skate shape on.
  4. Using approximately 22” of 1/8” ribbon (or smaller) loop the ribbon through the bottom eyelet of the combined card. Pull the ribbon so that the ends are even each side.
  5. Thread on side of the ribbon through each eyelet.
  6. Repeat with the other side of the ribbon threading the opposite way as before ( under or over the top of the card)
  7. Tie your ribbon.
  8. Loop a ribbon through the top loop of the combined ice skate.

Baseball Treat Box Two Ways



Baseball Treat Box Two Ways-JMRush
Approximate Box size: W 3” X D 2.5” X H 2.5” (H 5.5” with Handle)

This Treat box features a Baseball Bat shaped handle, a print and cut baseball design, and a paper piecing baseball. This file is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats. 




1. Cut design pieces.
2. Fold the score lines on the box base.
3.  Apply glue to the bottom of the top two tabs. Secure to the circular shape just above the tabs.
4. Apply glue to the tabs just below.  Secure to the circular shape just below the tabs.
5. You now have a box shape. Glue the baseball bat shape to the bat shaped handle. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the print and cut baseball or the paper piecing baseball to each side.
6. Insert the handle tab through the top slot on the side of the box. Repeat for the other side.
7.-8. Finish with a ribbon and fill with goodies:)

All About that Base Treat Box




All About that Base Treat Box-JMRush
Approximate Box size: W 3” X D 2.5” X H 2.5” (H 5.5” with Handle)

This Treat box features a Baseball Bat shaped handle, a print and cut base design, and is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats. 



1. Cut design pieces.

5. You now have a box shape. Glue the baseball bat shape to the bat shaped handle. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the print and cut base to each side.
6. Insert the handle tab through the top slot on the side of the box. Repeat for the other side.
7.-8. Finish with a ribbon and fill with goodies:)
