Skunk Candy Pocket

The Skunk Candy Pocket has a open center section that is perfect for holding snack sized candies for classroom parties, birthday party treats, or for Valentine’s Day. This file is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. 

2. Fold the tabs on the skunk pocket piece. Apply glue to the tabs. Fold forward and secure to the upper shape of the pocket. Glue the skunk face with cut out eyes to the skunk head solid base. Glue the oval shaped skunk stripe piece to the skunk's back body shape without a head.

3. Glue the smile and cheek dots to the combined skunk head. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the skunk nose. Turn the full skunk silhouette so that the tail is facing down.

4. Attach the pocket to the skunk shape with a tail using foam adhesive squares. Aligning at the base of the skunk tail.

5. Glue the tail to the combined skunk base piece. Apply glue to the combined skunk base pocket piece .

6. Attach the skunk’s back to the pocket.

7. Attach the combined head to the combined skunk base using foam adhesive squares and aligning the edges on each side. I curved the skunk's ears forward a bit. I finished with a ribbon and a enamel dot and inserted a Ghirardelli chocolate square in the pocket:)

This design features character arms that open to a hidden gift card pocket, is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats, and fits most gift cards.

1. Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock)

2. Fold the card along score lines. Glue the skunk face to the skunk head piece. Glue the tail strip to the tail base.

3. Apply glue the bottom of the side tabs on the card base. Secure by folding upward toward the card base. Glue the mouth in place. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the nose. Glue the circular cheeks in place.

4. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined skunk head to the front of the card base. Insert gift card.

5. Tuck the hands into the slots on the front. Glue a ribbon to the heart shape.

6. Apply glue to the bottom backside of the card and secure the tail. I used a foam adhesive square to secure the top of the tail:)

Skunk Hug Treat Box

Approximate box size: W 3.25” x D 2.25 x H .75” (H 4.25” including skunk head and tail)

This treat box features character arms that open to a small treat box. This design is perfect for Valentine’s Day or birthday parties. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided cardstock for the card base).

2. Glue the skunk face to the skunk face solid base. Glue the white tail piece to the tail base.

3. Using a foam adhesive square, attach the nose to the skunk combined face. Glue the mouth into place. Glue the cheek circles into place at the corners of the mouth.

4. Fold the box base along score lines. It is not necessary to fold the score lines closest to each paw.

5. Apply glue to the two top tabs and secure them to the top (head) panel.

6. Apply glue to the bottom two tabs and secure them to the bottom panel creating a box.

7. Apply glue to the bottom of the bottom section of the narrow strip. Attach to the back of the box. 

8.-9. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the head on the front of the box and the tail on the back.

10. The paws tuck into the slots on the narrow strip in the center. Attach a foam adhesive square in the center of this strip and secure the heart into place. 

11. I finished the skunk with a ribbon:)

Skunk Love Treat Box

Finished Box Dimensions (approximate): 

W 3” x H 2.5” x D 2.5”

You can fill this cute Skunk box with your favorite goodies. This design is compatible with 8x12 or 12X12 mats.

1.Cut the design pieces.

2. Glue the tail pieces on the coordinating shapes on the box base.

3. Fold the score lines on the box.

4. Apply glue to the top two tabs. Secure to the top section (with the tails).

5. Apply glue to the other two tabs and secure to the bottom section ( head section).

6. Glue the skunk face design pieces to the single face bases.

7.Using pieces of foam adhesive squares, attach the noses to the combined skunk faces and stack the hearts (largest on the bottom-smallest on top). Glue the cheek dots on each skunk.

8. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the skunk faces to the double face solid base.

9.Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined face pieces and hearts to the box base.

10. I finished the box with ribbon:)
