Heart Pattern Wrap Box

Heart Pattern Wrap Box-JMR

  1. Cut Design. I used double sided cardstock.
  2. Fold at score lines.
  3. Apply glue to the top tabs and attach to the top panel and secure.
  4. Repeat for the bottom tabs; creating a box. Repeat for the other box.
  5. This is what it should look like:)
  6. Apply glue to the top of the two edge hearts on the wrap piece.
  7. Align the other side of the wrap; aligning the hearts.
  8. This is what it should look like:)
  9. Place the shallow box(lid) over top the deeper one (bottom box). Slide the wrap over the box.

Heart Pattern Hanging Tea Light Lantern


Heart Pattern Hanging Tea Light Lantern-JMR
Lantern size: W 2.5 x D 2.5 x H 5”


This Flameless Hanging Tea Light Lantern features cut outs and when vellum paper is used, a layered transparent frosted glass effect is created. This lantern has a secure bottom that allows it to be hung and still allows access to the tea light on/off switch. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock and vellum paper and borrowed the picture tutorial from a past lantern project.)
2. Flip the two love lantern window pieces over. Glue the vellum paper to the window panels; centering around each of the cut out sections.
3. Fold all score lines.
4. Line up the two lantern window pieces. Apply glue to the long side tab of the lantern and secure to the other lantern window base piece.
5. Apply glue to the other long side tab of the lantern window base and secure to the inside of the other lantern window base piece; creating a box.
6. This is what it should look like:)
7. Apply glue to one top tab and secure the top tab to the inside of the next angled triangle.
8. Repeat for the rest of the top tabs until fully enclosed.

9.You can use a long utensil to help secure the tabs from the inside of the lantern.
10. Apply glue to the inside of one of the circular hanger pieces. Align with the other circular hanger piece and secure.
11. Apply glue to the bottom two tabs of the Lantern square base and secure to the inside of the sides. 
12. Repeat for the two top tabs creating a shallow box.
13. Apply a dab of glue to the inside of the lantern tea light base just under the slot. (This will help to secure the tab when it passes through.)
14.  Tuck the end tab into the slot creating a circular tube shape. Secure until dry.
15. Place the narrow circular ring piece and square piece over the tube shape you just created.
16. Apply glue to the outside of the tabs on the round side and secure downward to the round piece.

17. Apply glue to the top.
18. Secure the large ring to the top;centering it.
19. Insert flameless votive candle from the bottom.Flip this piece over so the Square side is up. Apply glue to the outside of the tabs on the square side and secure downward to the square piece.
20. Apply glue to the bottom and insert into the shallow square lantern base.
22. Place a flameless tea light candle inside the lantern square base; centering it. Apply glue to the bottom of the square side of the combined 
lantern tea light base. Place inside the lantern square base and secure.
23. Bottom view.
24. Apply glue to the inside edges of this piece and place the lantern window piece inside the box. Secure until dry. 
25. I finished this lantern with a ribbon:)

Valentines Bus Card

1.Cut design pieces. I used double sided card stock.
2. Glue the smaller bus to the larger one. Fold the card base.
3. Glue the floral bus bottom and the white middle and top to the coordinating shapes on the combined bus. Use pieces of foam adhesive squares to attach the three hearts; smallest on top:)
4. Glue the four solid circles ( two red and two white) to the inside of the open circles; centering them.
5. Glue the four silver open circles to their coordinating shapes on the combined bus. Glue the top silver long bar to the coordinating shape toward the top of the bus. Glue the combined hearts to the center of the combined bus.
6. Use pieces of foam adhesive squares to attach the bottom silver bumper piece and side oval silver mirror shapes to the coordinating shapes on with side of the combined bus. 
7. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined bus to the front of the card base; centering it:)

1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)
2. Glue the wings to the bird shape with eye cut outs. Use a small piece of foam adhesive square to attach the beak.
3. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the combined bird image to the bird base. Glue the limb piece to the top of the combined piece.
4. Glue the bird’s feet on:)

Love Bird Egg Card

This cute tri-panel love bird card opens from each side and is perfect for baby showers or for pregnancy announcements. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock and vellum paper)
2. Glue the heart shape to the center of the card base;centering it. Line up the girl and boy birds. Glue the tree libs to each bird making sure the limbs line up. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the wings to each bird.
3. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the egg; centering it. Attach the boy beak to the boy bird using a piece of foam adhesive square and glue the feet to each bird on top of the limbs.
4. Use a tiny piece of adhesive square to attach the small oval beak piece to the large beak base for the girl bird. Fold the score lines of the card base.
5. Glue the girl bird beak into place.
6. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the girl bird to the card base. 
7. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the boy bird to the card base.
8. I finished with a ribbon:)

2. Flip the two love lantern window pieces over. Glue the vellum paper to the window panels; centering around each of the cut out sections.
3. Fold all score lines.
4. Line up the two lantern window pieces. Apply glue to the long side tab of the lantern and secure to the other lantern window base piece.
5. Apply glue to the other long side tab of the lantern window base and secure to the inside of the other lantern window base piece; creating a box.
6. This is what it should look like:)

16. Apply glue to the outside of the tabs on the round side and secure downward to the round piece.



17. Apply glue to the top.
18. Secure the large ring to the top;centering it.
19. Insert flameless votive candle from the bottom.Flip this piece over so the Square side is up. Apply glue to the outside of the tabs on the square side and secure downward to the square piece.
20. Apply glue to the bottom and insert into the shallow square lantern base.
22. Place a flameless tea light candle inside the lantern square base; centering it. Apply glue to the bottom of the square side of the combined 
lantern tea light base. Place inside the lantern square base and secure.
23. Bottom view.
24. Apply glue to the inside edges of this piece and place the lantern window piece inside the box. Secure until dry. 
25. I finished this lantern with a ribbon:)

  1. Cut design pieces.
  2. Fold the card base at the score lines. Glue the pink Flamingo silhouettes to the full black Flamingo silhouette.
  3. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the Flamingo wings to each Flamingo. Glue the combined Flamingo to the front center of the card base; aligning with the heart cutout:)

Frog Hearts Card

1. Cut the design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)
2. Fold the card base at the score lines. Glue the Solid frog silhouette to the back of the frog silhouette with a mouth cut out. Glue the solid eye piece to the backside of the eyes with pupil cutouts.
3. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined eyes to the combined frog silhouette. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the second largest heart to the largest heart; centering it. 
4. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined Frog to the front of the card. Use pieces of foam adhesive square to attach the combined heart to the center above the frog and the single layer hearts on either side:)

4. Fold the combined card base at the score lines.
5. Glue the Smile cut out piece to the front of the card. Glue the word Smile to the bottom right hand corner of the card base.
6. Complete glueing the words to the card base:)

Seal Handle Basket


Seal Handle Basket- JMRush 
Approximate Basket size: W 2.75” X D 2.25” X H 2.25”

This file can be used for classroom Valentine’s parties, office treats, or birthday parties and is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. ( The tutorial images may look a bit wonky, as I had to adjust some things after tutorial images were taken..sorry:)
2.Glue the seal silhouettes with eye and mouth cutouts to their solid bases.
Glue the heart noses to their matching shapes on the oval shaped muzzle piece. Attach the small hearts (arm flaps) to their coordinating shapes on the combined seal silhouettes using foam adhesive squares.
3. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the combined muzzles to the coordinating shape on the combined seal silhouettes.
4. Fold the score lines on the box base.
5. Apply glue to the tabs on the left side and attach to the seal silhouette panels above and below; aligning at the edges.
6. Repeat for the tabs on the right side.
7. this is what it should look like:)
8. Insert the handle tabs into the slots on each side of the box base.

9. Glue the combined seal silhouettes to the coordinating shapes on each side of the box base. I formed ribbon into a bow tie and used enamel dots to accentuate the seal’s eyes.
10. Cut three pieces of thread approximately 3” long.
11.-12. I used hot glue to attach the three threads to the seals nose and covered it up with the remaining heart nose shapes:)

Arrow Heart

This design utilizes a pencil or two 6” Pixy Stix as it’s base and is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats. Great for classroom or office Valentine’s Day parties.

  1. Cut Design pieces.
  2. Fold shapes at the score lines.
  3. Apply glue to the backside of one section of the top feather (stoping at the score lines)
  4. Attach one side of the second feather to the area where you applied glue.  Allow to dry.
  5. Apply glue to the backside of one section of the third feather ( stoping at the score lines).
  6. Attach one side of the fourth feather to the area where you applied glue.  Allow to dry.
  7. Apply glue to the backside of one section of the first heart ( stoping at the score lines).
  8. Attach one side of the second heart to the area where you applied glue.  Allow to dry.
  9. Apply glue to the backside of one section of the third heart ( stoping at the score lines).
  10. Attach one side of the fourth heart to the area where you applied glue.  Allow to dry.
  11. Curve the two rectangular tab pieces. (I used the pencil that I used as a base to get the circular shape.)
  12. Apply glue to the bottom edge just under the slot in the rectangular tab.
  13. Insert the tab into the slot.
  14. Tuck the tab all the way into the slot and allow the glue to dry. ( I placed this piece back on to the end of the pencil temporarily to make sure it kept it’s shape:)
  15. Apply glue to the center of one of the combined feather pieces at the broadest center point.
  16. Place one of the rectangular tab pieces ( which is a cylinder shape now) in the center of the combined feather and allow to dry; aligning in the center and at the top.
17.  Apply glue to the sides of this combined piece and to the center cylindrical piece.
18. Attach the other combined feather piece; aligning at the edges. (You may need apply pressure to the outside of the center to make sure the second set of feathers adheres to the cylinder inside.)
19. Apply glue to the center of one of the combined heart pieces at the broadest center point.
20. Place one of the rectangular tab pieces ( which is a cylinder shape now) in the center of the combined heart and allow to dry; aligning in the center and at the top.
21. Apply glue to the sides of this combined piece and to the center cylindrical piece.
22. Attach the other combined heart piece; aligning at the edges. (You may need to apply pressure to the outside of the center and at the center end point to make sure the second set of hearts adheres to the cylinder inside.)
23. This is what it should look like:)
24. Place the combined feather piece on the eraser end of a pencil and the heart section at the lead end. Finish with a ribbon.
25.-26. You can also use two 6” Pixy Stix for the base of this project. You may need to squeeze the ends a bit to make them more pointed to fit into the combined feathers and hearts:)
