Spring Flower Tea Light



Spring Flower Tea Light (Flameless)-JMRush
Approximate Dimensions: W 4.5” x D 4.5” X H 2”

This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats and is used with a flameless battery operated tea light candle.

  1. Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock paper)
  2. Curve the flower petals. Fold the tabs on the flower base.
  3. Tuck the end tab into the slot creating a circular tube shape. Secure with a small dab of glue. 
  4. Image of tab inserted and glued into place.
  5. Place the narrow circular ring pieces over the tube shape you just created.
  6. Apply glue to the outside of one of the rows of tabs and secure to the narrow ring.
  7. Apply glue to the tops of the ring and tabs.
  8. Secure the thicker circular ring to the top.
  9. Place a flameless votive candle inside the tube. Apply glue to the outside of the tabs and secure to the narrow ring.(repeating the steps above) Apply glue to the tops of the ring and tabs. Secure the thicker circular ring to the top.
  10. Curve your flower petals as you like and glue to the top of the lantern base.
  11. Glue the 6 flower petal sections together; Largest on bottom to smallest on top and alternating petals. I did this by applying glue to the backside around the circumference of each flower layer.
  12. Image of the layers being glued together.
  13. Glue the stamen sections together alternating the points and alternating colors. Apply glue to the leaves/lantern base.
  14. Secure the combined flower to the base and glue the stamen combined piece to the center:)

Dahlia Flower Tea Light

  1. Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock paper) I used a darker red color card stock for the 4 largest petal layers.
  2. Curve the flower petals. Fold the tabs on the flower base.
  3. Tuck the end tab into the slot creating a circular tube shape. Secure with a small dab of glue. Glue the 6 flower petal sections together; Largest on bottom to smallest on top and alternating petals. I did this by applying glue to the backside around the circumference of each flower layer.
  4. Place the narrow circular ring pieces over the tube shape you just created.
  5. Apply glue to the outside of one of the rows of tabs and secure to the narrow ring.
  6. Apply glue to the tops of the ring and tabs.
  7. Secure the thicker circular ring to the top.
9. Place a flameless votive candle inside the tube. Apply glue to the outside of the tabs and secure to the narrow ring.(repeating the steps above)
10. Apply glue to the tops of the ring and tabs. Secure the thicker circular ring to the top.
11. Fold the tabs of one of the two large flower petal piece down. Fold the other large flower’s tabs up.
12. Apply glue to the outside of the tabs on the downward tabs and combine with the other large center combined flower petal securing each of the tabs together.
13. Apply glue to the bottom center of the combined large flower piece and attach to the lantern base piece.
14. Apply glue to the center backside of the combined flower petal grouping and attach to the center of the combined lantern, alternating the petals. Apply light pressure until dry:)

Iris Tea Light (Flameless)

This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats and when vellum paper is used, an opaque lantern effect is created.

  1. Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock and vellum paper)
  2. Match up the petal outline shapes with the coordinating vellum shape. Glue the coordinating vellum piece to the front of the outline flower. ( You can also cut out another outline flower piece if you would like each side of the vellum flower to have the outline detail:)
  3. Fold the tabs of the tea light base ( long narrow strip with tabs). Tuck the end tab into the slot creating a circular tube shape. Apply a small dab of glue on the tab to hold in place. Apply a small dab of glue on the tab to hold in place.    
  4. Place the two narrow circular ring pieces over the tube shape you just created. One toward the top and one toward the bottom.
  5. Apply glue to the outside of one of the rows of tabs and secure to the narrow ring.
  6. Image of step completed.
  7. Repeat for the other set of tabs and circular ring. Image of step completed.
  8. Apply glue to the tops of the ring and tabs on one side. Secure the thicker circular ring to the top.

  10. Flip the combined tube over. Place a flameless votive candle inside the tube. Apply glue to the tops of the ring and tabs. Secure the thicker circular ring to the top.
  11. Curve the combined flower and leaves as you like. (I curved two of the leaves up and two down. I curved one set of the flower petals down and flipped the other set on it’s backside and then curved the petals up toward the center.)
  12. Apply glue to the backside of the leaves at the points where they make contact with the tea light base and attach to the tea light base.
  13. Apply glue to the bottom of the flower petals curved downward and secure to the tea light base.
  14. Apply glue to the bottom of the flower petals curved upward and secure to the tea light base:)

Poinsettia Tea Light (Flameless)

This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats and when vellum paper is used, an opaque lantern effect is created.

  1. Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock and vellum paper)
  2. Match up the petal outline shapes with the coordinating vellum shapes. (You may need to rotate the matched sets to get them to align as they are irregular shapes)
  3. Glue the coordinating vellum pieces to the backside of the outline flowers. (I did not glue the inside vein designs of the petals).
  4. Repeat for all of the flower combinations.
  5. Fold the tabs of the tea light base ( long narrow strip with tabs) and curve the flower petals as you like. Fold the score lines in the leaf piece.
  6. Tuck the end tab into the slot creating a circular tube shape. I applied a small dab of glue on the tab to hold in place.
  7. Image of the tab in the slot.
  8. Place the narrow circular ring pieces over the tube shape you just created.
  9. Apply glue to the outside of one of the rows of tabs and secure to the narrow ring. Repeat for the other set of tabs and circular ring.
  10. Image of the tabs secured.
  11. Apply glue to the tops of the ring and tabs. 
  12. Secure the thicker circular ring to the top.
  13. Image of this step completed.
  14. Place a flameless votive candle inside the tube. Apply glue to the tops of the ring and tabs. Secure the thicker circular ring to the top.
  15. Apply glue to the center ring on the backside of the leaf piece. Center and secure to the tea light base.
  16. Fold the tabs of the combined flower petal pieces. One set folds up and the other down. Apply glue to the tabs that are folded up.
  17. Place the other large combined flower petal piece to this piece and align the tabs together. ( petals will be staggered) Secure each of the tabs together. This will create a space in between the flower sections.
  18. Glue the centers of the three smaller combined flower petals together. Largest on bottom and smallest on top and alternating the petals.
  19. This is what it should look like. I used enamel adhesive dots to decorate the center flower piece.
  20. Glue the set of three combined flower petals to the set of two larger combined flower petals; alternating the petals. Apply glue to the bottom center of the combined flower piece and attach to the tea light base piece. ( I used hot glue for this)
  21. Push down the center of the combined flower piece so that the tea light flame is showing.
  22. Glue the flower center in the center of your creation:)

Skull Tea Light Banner (Flameless)

Skull Tea Light Banner (Flameless)-JMRush

Approximate size of each box: W 1. 5/8” X  H 1. 5/8” X D 1. 5/8”

This cute little skull box is the perfect size to hold one battery operated flameless tea light candle. This file and can be used independently or can be duplicated and strung together to create a banner for Halloween parties. This design is compatible with 8x12 or 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock and vellum paper)
2. Flip the cube base over ( pretty side down). Apply glue to the inside edges of the open square. Secure the small vellum square over the open square; centering it.
3. Insert a ribbon for hanging your cube.
4. Fold the score lines of the cube. Use pieces of foam adhesive squares to attach the skull to the skull base.
5. Apply glue to the top two tabs and secure to the square panel just above the tabs that has the hanging ribbon in it.
6. Apply glue to the next two tabs on the cube base and secure the lower panel to them.
7. Insert a Flameless battery operated tea light. (I used a color changing tea light)
8. Close the lid - Glue the combined skull piece to square that has the vellum piece. Do NOT glue the lid. The lid must open to turn the tea lights on and off:)
9. Tie the ribbon. The skull boxes can be duplicated and strung together to make a banner.

Taco Truck Treat Box

The Taco Truck Treat Box has an attached lid and is great for party favors or to use as a centerpiece for parties. This design is compatible with 8x12 or 12X12 mats.

 1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)  (I grouped all of the color groups to help. You can highlight and ungroup your color sets as needed with your Silhouette program:)
2. Glue the largest circles to the matching shapes on the solid truck shapes.
3. Glue the truck shapes with cut outs to the coordinating solid truck shape. Glue the second largest circles to the largest circles that you just attached to the solid truck shape; centering it within the circles.
4. Glue the smaller door frames to the larger ones (2).Use foam adhesive squares to attach the third largest circles to the combined circles on the combined truck shape; centering them. Glue the scalloped curtain shape to the inside top of the large window on the combined truck shape.
5. Glue the front grill shape with cut outs to it’s solid base. Glue the Taco sign to it’s solid base. Glue the rectangular window shapes to the coordinating shapes.
6. Glue the three pepper pieces together- Largest on bottom to smallest on top. Glue the four taco pieces together- Largest on bottom to smallest on top. Then glue the two small squiggly lettuce pieces to the combined tacos. Glue the smallest white circles to the combined grill shape in the coordinating shapes. Glue the small open circles to the solid red circles (tail lights) Glue the hat shapes to both sides of the solid hat base. Glue the half moon shapes (brown) hat shadows to the coordinating shapes on both sides of the combined hat. Glue the two smallest circles to the insides of the headlights of the combined front grill section.
7. Flip the box bases over ( pretty side down) as shown in the photo. Fold the score lines. Apply glue to the backside of the long tab in the center. Line up the two box base pieces and attach.
8. Fold the tabs on the smallest box base piece and align with the the bottom section to the left of the seam. Apply glue to the top tab and secure into place.
9. Apply glue to the backside of the tab on the upper left box base-closest to the center. Attach to the center strip to the right of the tab.
10. Apply glue to the backside of the top tab of that same piece and secure to the right side panel.
11. Apply glue to the backsides of the two tabs of the bottom strip of the combined box base- first set from the center of the combined box base. Secure to the side panels.
12.  Repeat for the next two tabs-creating a box shape. Allow to dry.
13. Repeat for the last two tabs-creating a box shape. Allow to dry. 
14. Glue the front and back windshield combined pieces to their coordinating rectangular shaped panels ( these pieces have open rectangle shapes that are similar:)
15. Glue the solid rectangular spaces to their coordinating shapes on the front and top of the truck box base.
16. Image of the backside.
17. Glue the combined truck shape to it’s coordinating box base side.
Repeat for the other side. (Be careful not to glue the top backside of truck design with a window so as not to glue the box tab closure slot)
18. Glue the combined door into place. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined pepper, combined taco, and Taco sign into place.



19. Glue the long wheel hub to the coordinating side. (do not glue the very front of the long wheel hug piece- toward the front of the truck) Fold the score lines.
20. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the smaller wheel hub shape to the larger one.
21. Glue the other long wheel hub to the other side. (do not glue the very back of the long wheel hug piece- toward the back of the truck) Fold the score lines. Glue the end section to the other side of the truck tucking under the long wheel hub on the other side.
22. Image of the bumpers corner.
23. Glue the combined door to the coordinating shape on the other side of the box. Attach the last smaller wheel hub to the coordinating shape using foam adhesive squares.
24. Glue the combined round tail lights (two) to the backside of the truck.
25. Glue the combined grill piece with headlights to the front of the truck box base.
26. Insert the combined hat into the slot in the top of your box.
27. Apply glue to the front of one of the tabs and to the back of the other tab on the inside lid section of your box. Secure to the inside of the lid.

Color guide for design pieces.

1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)
2. Glue the largest circles to the matching shapes on the solid truck shapes.

6. Glue the ice cream sandwich cut out piece to the coordinating solid piece ( the background piece is shown as grey in this tutorial- I switched it to black in the final image) Glue the orange popsicle to it’s base. Glue the largest rocket pop shape to it’s base. Glue the second largest rocket piece to the combined rocket piece. Glue the smallest white circles to the combined grill shape in the coordinating shapes.
7.Glue the smallest rocket pop ( red ) shape to the combined rocket pop. Flip the box bases over ( pretty side down) as shown in the photo. Fold the long tab in the center and apply glue to the backside. Line up the two box base pieces and attach.
8. Fold the tabs on the smallest box base piece and align with the the bottom section to the left of the seam. Apply glue to the top tab and secure into place.
9. Fold the tabs on the upper left of the combined box base. Apply glue to the backside of the tab closest to the center. Attach to the center strip to the right of the tab.
10. Apply glue to the backside of the top tab on the bottom box base section. Secure to the left side panel.
11.  Repeat for the next two tabs.
12. Apply glue to the right side tabs of the bottom section and to the backside tab. Secure to the right side panel- creating a box shape.
13. Allow to dry. This is what it should look like:) 
14. Close the top box tab by securing the tab in the slot.
15. Glue the combined truck shape to it’s coordinating box base side.

16. Repeat for the other side. (Be careful not to glue the top backside of truck design with a window so as not to glue the box tab closure slot)
17. Glue the long wheel hub to the coordinating side.
18. Fold the tab so that the bumper sticks out. Glue the end section to the other side of the truck ( there is a score line to line up with:)
19. Repeat for the other side.
20. Tuck the end score line underneath the other wheel hub piece.
21. Use pieces of foam adhesive squares to attach the ice cream and sign to the box base side without a window. Glue the combined door to the coordinating shape on the box base.
22. Glue the small wheel hub shape into place.
23. Flip to the other side. Glue the combined door into place.
24. Glue the smaller wheel hub to the coordinating shape.
25. Glue the solid rectangular pieces to their coordinating shapes on the front and top of the truck box base.
26. Glue the combined grill piece with headlights to the front of the truck box base. Glue the solid rectangular shape with rounded corners to the backside of the windshield piece ( with windshield wipers )
27. Apply glue to the backside and attach to the front of the box base.
28. It should look like this:)
29. Glue the combined backside piece to the back of the truck.
30. Glue the rectangular shape with rounded corners to the inside of the window.


31. Glue the small open circles to the solid red circles.

33. Glue to the backside of the truck.
34. Your box is complete:)

Watermelon Flip Top Box


Watermelon Flip Top Box-JMRush

The Watermelon Flip Top Box has a top that is attached to the box base on one side and a tab closure on the other side. This file is great for party favors or to use as a centerpiece for your summer parties. This design is compatible with 8x12 or 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)
2. Flip Box base over ( pretty side down). Glue the watermelon shape with seed cut outs on the matching solid watermelon base- one for the top and one for the bottom half.
3. Fold score lines up on the box base pieces. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined watermelon pieces to their matching larger solid watermelon piece. 
4. Align the box base pieces so that the larger pieces is on the left and has the tab on the lower left and the smaller piece is on the right and has the small indented tab on the upper right. Apply glue to the backside of the long side tab on the right side smaller box base piece.
5. Align with the edge of the other box base and secure. ( You want the tab to be on the inside of your box). Apply glue to the small side tabs- one on the top and one on the bottom ( where my thumb and finger are in the picture). Secure to the rectangular tab shapes creating 90 degree angles.
6. Apply glue to the backside of the tabs closest to the outside the left box base- one on the top and one on the bottom ( where my thumb and finger are pointing). Secure to the tab directly below for the top tab and directly above for the lower tab.
7. Apply glue to the backside of the tabs closest to the center- one on the top and one on the bottom of the right side box base. Secure to the center strip.
8. Apply glue to the outer sides of the 90 degree angles on the outside of the right bottom section. Secure to the inside of the left box base sections creating a box and lining up the edges.
9. This is what it should look like:) Apply glue to the outer sides of the 90 degree angles on the outside of the right upper section. Secure to the inside of the left box base
10. Your box is now complete:) Tuck the closure tab into the slot in the bottom section to close.
11. Glue the combined watermelon pieces to the top and bottom front of your box base.
12.  Finish by adding a ribbon. Fill with goodies and enjoy:)


Carousel Lantern

Approximate size: W 4.50” X D 4.50” X H 7”



This five sided lantern file has a carousel horse design on each side and when vellum paper is used, an opaque lantern effect is created. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)
2. Flip lantern pieces over ( pretty side down). Apply glue to the very edges of the rectangular vellum pieces. Align over each carousel horse window on the lantern. Secure. 
3. Fold score line up.
4. Align the lantern pieces so that the upper tabs are on the upper right side. Apply glue to the backside of the long side tabs and secure the three lantern pieces together.
5. Image of the long side tab attached to the other lantern sections. (The single lantern’s long side tab will not be glued yet)
6. Glue the backside of the flag portion of the one of the two flag pieces. Do not glue the pole/stem portions together.
7. Image of the flag glued together.
8. Glue one side of the pole/stem combined piece to the center top of the third carousel horse window. Allow to dry and make sure the other side of the pole/stem piece is free).
9. -10. Apply glue to the top right side tab of the first carousel horse top and attach to the inside of the next triangular top to the right. Repeat for the next tab.
11. Apply glue to the top of the pole/stem piece and secure to the inside of the lantern.
12. Apply glue to the top tab on the second to the last carousel horse window from the right and attach to the triangular top of the next panel to the right.
13. Apply glue to the long side tab on the last carousel window panel and attach to the carousel window panel to the left, creating a enclosed pentagon box shape.
14. Apply glue to the last two top tabs and secure to the insides of the lantern top.
15. Image of the finished inside.
16. Fold the score lines of the lantern base.
17. Apply glue to the small tabs and secure to the insides of the rectangle to the left.
18. I used a 3” W x 4” H flameless color changing candle, which is placed in the center of the lantern base. The lantern top is placed over the top. I finished with a ribbon and enamel jewels in the center of each scallop:)
