Winter Birdhouse Card


Winter Birdhouse Card- JMRush 
Approximate Card size: H 5.50” X W 4.25”


This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1. Cut design pieces. (Be careful not to scrap the little circles that are grouped with two of the groupings:)
2. Fold the card base at the score lines. Glue the pinecone cut out pieces to their coordinating pinecone solid bases.  Glue the small circle to the larger one; centering it. Flip the smaller birdhouse group (with cut outs) over ( pretty side down).  Attach pieces of foam adhesive squares to it and to the triangular roof shaped birdhouse top.
3. Flip the smaller birdhouse back over and attach it to the larger one; centering it. Flip the smaller triangular roof piece back over and attach it to the larger one; aligning at the top and the outside edges. Flip this combined triangular roof piece over ( pretty side down) and attach foam adhesive squares. Flip the combined circle piece over and attach a piece of foam adhesive square to it.
4. Flip the combined triangular roof piece over and attach it to the combined base piece. Flip the combined birdhouse piece over and attach it to the combined base. Flip the combined circle piece over and attach it to the front of the combined birdhouse. Curve the pine needles and combined pinecones as you like. Glue two of the pine needle sets to the top of the combined birdhouse. Flip the combined pinecones over (pretty side down) and attach a foam adhesive square to each one. 
5. Flip the combined pinecones back over and attach to the combined birdhouse.
6. Glue the other two sets of pine needles to the combined birdhouse. I finished with a ribbon and enamel dots. Glue the birdhouse to the front of the card base:)

This design can be used as a gift tag or ornament and is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

2. Flip the Base piece (with a circular hanger) over ( pretty side down). Center and glue the solid birdhouse shape to the base. (This is optional and is used for writing if you will be using this for a gift tag and not an ornament) Flip this combined piece back over ( pretty side up).  Glue the pinecone cut out pieces to their coordinating pinecone solid bases.  Glue the small circle to the larger one; centering it. 1. Cut design pieces. 
2. Flip the pinecone base (circular hanger at the top) over (pretty side down). Glue the solid plain pinecone to the back. (This is optional and is used for writing if you will be using this for a gift tag and not an ornament)
3. Flip the tag back over (pretty side up) and glue the cut out pinecone to the front. 
4.-5. Curve the pine needles as you like and glue them at the top of the pinecone.
6. I finished with a ribbon and an enamel dot:)

1. Cut design pieces. (There is a large “Joy” script missing from the beginning of this tutorial. It appears in image 5.)
2.Glue the smallest script to the medium sized script. Glue the panel with pinecone cut outs to the solid base with a circular hanger at the top.
3. Flip the combined tag over and glue the solid plain panel to the back. (This is optional and is used for writing if you will be using this for a gift tag and not an ornament)
4.-5. Flip the tag back over (pretty side up). Curve the pine needles as you like and glue them above the pinecone cut outs. Two sets on each pinecone. I attached three small red enamel dots on top of each of the pinecone needle/pinecones.
6. Glue the combined “joy” script to the largest script. 
7. Use pieces of foam adhesive squares to attach the script to the front of the tag and finish with a ribbon:)

Pinecone 3D Gift Tag

This design can be used as a gift tag or ornament and is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces.
2. Fold all score lines.
3.Apply glue to the front of the circle design piece. Glue it to the back of your Gift Tag base. (This piece is included in case you use double sided paper and need a plain surface to write on:)
4. Apply glue to the right hand backside of one of your pinecones.
5. Attach the left backside of the next pinecone.
6. Repeat until all pinecones are combined.
7. Apply glue to the backside of the combined 3D pinecone section and glue to the base.
8. Glue on the leaves and shape them as you like.
8. Finish with a ribbon and adhesive dot:)

Joy Pine Cone Tri-Fold Gift Card Holder

Joy Pine Cone Tri-Fold Gift Card Holder-JMRush
Card size: 5” x 3”

  1. Cut out all design pieces.
  2. Fold all score lines.
  3. Apply glue to the edges of the inside of the cut outs on the top..making sure that your glue does not show through the front.
  4. Secure the top panel. 
  5. Apply glue to the edges of the panel you just placed.
  6. Secure the scalloped edge triangular piece.
  7. Apply glue to the bottom section on the inside of the gift card section. (make sure your glue does not show through the cut out on the front) 
  8. Secure the bottom panel to the base.
  9. Apply glue to the very outside edges of the gift card section. ( If your glue gets too far inward, your gift card section will not work properly).
  10. Secure to the card base.
  11. Glue the center of a leaf piece to each of the pinecones.
  12. Attach gem to the center of each leaf piece.
  13. Apply glue to the back side of your rectangular piece and secure into place.
  14. Attach the center of the remaining leaf pieces to each of the pine cones on the front. (I used three little adhesive gems to decorate the tops of my pine cones.) Glue the lettering to the lettering base.
  15. Center that lettering to the front and glue into place. (I used foam adhesive squares to attach the lettering to the card base).
  16. Ta Da! Your card is done:)
