Kangaroo Gift Card Slider


Kangaroo Gift Card Slider - JMRush 
Approximate size: H 4” X W 4”

The Kangaroo Gift Card Slider Card has an inside joey design that pops up holding a gift card or special message (optional message insert is included) when the front cover of the card is lifted up. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. ( There is an optional rectangular shaped “message panel” that can replace a gift card)
2. Fold the score line on the card base and insert piece. Apply glue to the side tabs of the card base and fold forward securing to the upper panel of the card base. 
3. Glue the Kangaroo heads with cut outs (solid ears) to their matching solid bases. Glue the long oval piece to the coordinating shape of the long joey kangaroo piece.
4. Glue the large kangaroo bottom (with a tail ) to the front side of the card base;centering it. Apply glue to the backside of the arms and head of the long combined joey kangaroo piece and secure it to the coordinating shape on the insert. Glue the Kangaroo heads with cut outs (open ears) to their matching combined kangaroo head bases.
5. This is what it should look like:) 
6. Glue the muzzle piece and then the noses to the coordinating combined kangaroo heads. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the kangaroo bottom (without a tail) to the coordinating shape on the front of the card. I used adhesive enamel dots to accentuate the eyes.
7. Apply glue to the top section of the insert piece and attach to the coordinating shape on the card base. 
8. Attach the small kangaroo head (ears down) using a foam adhesive square to the joey kangaroo on the insert piece. Glue one of the heart shapes to the circle in between the joey’s hands.
9. Tuck the insert piece’s bottom into the pocket of the card base leaving the bottom section of the insert folded up. ( The bottom section is what holds the gift card/message panel and allows the card to pop up when the completed card is opened.)
10. This is what it should look like with out the gift card/message panel. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the large combined kangaroo head to the coordinating head/arm piece. I fashioned a bow tie and bow from ribbon to be used on the kangaroos.


11. Insert a gift card or the message panel into the pocket.
12. Fold the top panel of the card base. (I made sure that the insert was sliding down into the pocket and pressed on the top front panel with light pressure to make the card flatter.) Glue the large combined kangaroo to the coordinating shape on the front top panel of the card base.
12. Tuck the center circle into the slot of the bottom section of the front cover. Glue the last heart shape to the front center circle shape and glue the bow under the large kangaroo’s head:)

Turkey Slider Hatch Treat Box



Turkey Slider Hatch Treat Box-JMRush
Finished Box Dimensions (approximate)- W 2” x H 4” x D 7/8”

This cute little Turkey treat box has a hatch opening and will hold 3-4 “mini” candies. This design is compatible with 8x12 or 12X12 mats.



  1. Cut the design pieces.
  2. Pre-Fold all score lines.
  3. Apply glue to the tabs on each side.
  4. Secure the tabs to the inside of the lower box tabs creating a half box.
  5. Apply glue to the outside of each side of the half box.
  6. Secure to the inside of the side panel on each side.
  7. Place the pointed tabs on the upper section through the slot of the inside wing piece. You will need to bend the pointed tabs to get them into place. (Do not fold them) Make sure that the tab is on the outside of the wing piece. Repeat on the other side.
  8. Glue the upper section’s wings to the box base ( careful not to glue the tabs. They must remain free for the hatch to open properly.)
9. This is what you box should look like.
10. Apply a dab of glue to the upper edges of the wing section on each side -again being careful not to glue the tabs.
11. It should look like this:)
12. Glue the hind feathers together.
13. Glue the teat drop shaped gobbler onto the face backing then glue the beak and eyes into place.
14. Glue the head feathers into place then the completed face.  The feet are glued to the bottom of the box and the hind feathers to the back.
15. Slightly curve the side wings and glue them into place on the side of the box.
16. Ta Da! Your Turkey is complete:)

This cute little Owl treat box is perfect for classroom parties. This treat box has a hatch opening and will hold 3-4 “mini” candies. This design is compatible with 8x12 or 12X12 mats.



1. Cut the design pieces.
2. Pre-fold all score lines.
3.Place the tab of the face piece through the slot of the inside wing piece on each side. Make sure that the tab is on the outside of the wing piece. ( you will need to bend the pointed tab a bit to get it into the slot)
4. Apply glue to the lower wings.
 5. Secure the lower wings and lower box section together.
 6. Glue the upper section’s wings to the box base (careful not to glue the tabs. They must remain     free in order for the hatch to open properly.)
 7. Apply a small tab of glue to the top inside to secure it (make sure your hatch will still open properly). Repeat for the other side.
 8. Secure the eyeballs to the iris' and then to the white of the eye balls. Use foam adhesive squares to secure the eyeballs to the shodden eye area and then secure the complete eyes to the box base with glue.
 9. Apply glue to the ears and place onto the box base.
 10. Fold the Owl's wings at the score lines and glue the center of the sings to the side of your owl base on each side. Larger wing section goes in front.
 11. Glue the tops of the back wing sections down to the base and then fold the front wing section on top of it , glueing it in place. Puff out the feathers on the bottom of the wings and yay...Your Owl is complete!

 7. Apply a small tab of glue to the top inside to secure it (make sure your hatch will still open properly).
 8. Secure the teeth into place with glue.
 9. Apply glue to the bottom and top of the black eye piece and secure it into place.
 10. Secure the white eye piece into place and glue the stitches and mouth piece into place.
 11. Glue the arms onto the sides and fold the score lines on each hand so that the monster's fingers touch your surface. Yay! Your monster is complete!

This cute little Frankenstein treat box is perfect for classroom parties. This treat box has a hatch opening and will hold 3-4 “mini” candies. This design is compatible with 8x12 or 12X12 mats.

  1. Cut the design pieces.
  2. Pre-fold all score lines.
  3. ( pictures 3-6) Place the tab of the face piece through the slot of the inside wing piece on each side. ( you will need to bend the pointed tab a bit to get it into the slot) Make sure that the tab is on the outside of the wing piece.
     7. Apply glue to the lower wings.
     8. Secure the lower wings and lower box section together.
    9. Glue the upper section’s wings to the box base (careful not to glue the tabs. They must remain free in order for the hatch to open properly.)
    10. 11. Apply a small tab of glue to the top inside to secure it (make sure your hatch will still open properly).
    12. Apply glue to the bottom and top of the black eye piece and secure it into place.
    13. Secure the white eye piece into place and glue the stitches and mouth piece into place.
    14. Glue the screw heads to the screw backgrounds.
    15. Attach the screws to the side of the box using foam adhesive squares.
    16. Your box should be able to contain 3-4 "mini" size candies:)
