- Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock) Be careful when removing the grad hat piece with the year cut out. It is delicate.
- Glue the smaller mat to the top of the larger mat. Attach the grad hat with the year cut out to the solid grad hat piece ( I used foam adhesive squares for dimension:)
- Apply glue to the back of the combined mat piece just along the very top. Secure to the front of the frame base. (Make sure the the score lines are at the bottom of the frame base)
- Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined grad hat to the center of the top of the combined frame pieces. ( This frame can also be used horizontally by glue the mat along the horizontal top instead of the vertical as directed above)
- Insert picture by lifting the mat. The score lines on the frame base can be used to utilize the kick stand:)

- Cut design pieces. I used double sided card stock.
- Fold the card base at the score lines. Glue the backside of the bottom tab and the lower two side tabs. Secure the panels to the left to the tabs.
- Apply glue to the backside of the long side tab on the right and secure it underneath the top panel.
- Insert standard size Tic Tac™ box. This tutorial shows a mini Tic Tac™ box.
- Insert the top flap into the slot on the box base.
- Flip the box base over. Apply glue to the backside of the 2018 piece and center on the box side without the flap/slot.
- I finished by hot glueing a ribbon and a jingle bell to the top:)
