Penguin Sweater Hug Gift Card Holder



Penguin Sweater Hug Gift Card Holder

Approximate Card size: 4” x 7.” 


This card features character arms that open to release a hidden gift card section. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats. A complete step by step picture tutorial and alternate images can be found on my blog.

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided cardstock) ( There are two additional earmuff pieces included in this file that are not shown in this tutorial until the end.)

2. Glue one of the sweater chest pieces to the coordinating shape on the base. Glue the sweater sleeves on either side on the coordinating shapes.

3. Glue the penguin face (with cut outs) and the ear muff base to the coordinating shapes on the base.

4. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the beak and the sweater collar to the combined base.

5. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the earmuffs to the coordinating shapes on the combined base.

6. Fold the card along score lines.

7. Apply glue the bottom of the side tabs on the card base. Secure by folding upward toward the card base.



8. Insert gift card.

9. Fold the gift card section up. Glue (only the edges) the rectangle to the coordinating bottom section making sure that the score lines align and that the score lines are not glued down.

10. Flip the card over. Glue the other sweater chest piece to the coordinating shape and glue the remaining sleeve pieces to the each side.

11. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the remaining ear muff pieces and the remaining collar piece.

12. Flip the combined card base over and Tuck the hands into the slots.

13. I finished with enamel jewels to accentuate the eyes and a ribbon:)

Reindeer Earmuffs Hug Gift Card Holder






Reindeer Earmuffs Hug Gift Card Holder-JMRush

This card features character arms that open to release a hidden gift card section. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock)

2. Fold the card along score lines. Glue the head with cut outs to the solid antler/head shape; aligning at the top of the head. Glue the earmuff base to the coordinating shape on the card base.

3. Apply glue the bottom of the side tabs on the card base. Secure by folding upward toward the card base. Glue the gold bells to the red collar piece.

4. Insert gift card. Glue the black eyes to the coordinating shapes on the combined head. Glue the tiny white accent piece to the nose.

5.  Using foam adhesive squares, attach the earmuff to the earmuff base and the combined head to the collar piece;aligning at the top of the head . Using a foam adhesive square,attach the combined nose to the combined head.

6. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the combined head/collar piece to the card base; aligning at the top of the head.

7. Glue the hooves to the outside of the arms at the coordinating shapes.

8. Fold the gift card section up. Tuck the hands into the slots. I finished with enamel jewels to accentuate the eyes and a ribbon:)

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided cardstock for the card base) There is a small tail not shown in this tutorial that can be attached to the backside of the gift card if desired:)
2. Fold the card along score lines. Glue the face piece with holes to the coordinating solid face shape (black). Glue the small chin (gray) to the coordinating shape on the solid combined face shape. Glue the small black circle eyes to the slightly larger brown circle eyes; aligning the holes.
3. Apply glue the bottom of the side tabs on the card base. Secure by folding upward toward the card base.
4. Attach the muzzle and ear pieces to the combined solid face with foam adhesive squares. Glue the combined eyes to the larger white solid eyes.
5. Glue the combined eyes into place and attach the nose with a piece of foam adhesive square.
6. Glue the small eyebrow lines to the combined face.
7. Using foam adhesive squares attach the combined face to the gift card holder base.
8. The gift card can be inserted into the pocket of the card base and the hands tuck into the slots on the front. Finish with ribbon:)

Christmas Bus Card

1.Cut design pieces. I used double sided card stock. (Please excuse the edited blobs on the tutorial images) 
2. Glue the smaller bus to the larger one. Glue the largest present box to the coordinating shape on the combined bus. Fold the card base.
3. Glue the red bus bottom and the white middle and top to the coordinating shapes on the combined bus. Use pieces of foam adhesive squares to attach the two smaller presents.
4. Glue the four silver open circles to their coordinating shapes on the combined bus. Glue the four solid circles to the inside of the open circles. Glue the last solid circle to the center of the bus; centering it.
5. Glue the three shiny red ribbon pieces to the presents at the top of the bus; largest on in the middle. Glue the top silver long bar to the coordinating shape toward the top of the bus. Glue the side oval silver mirror shapes to the coordinating shapes on with side of the combined bus. Use pieces of foam adhesive squares to attach the bottom silver bumper piece.
6. Curve the three wreath pieces as you like and place them on top of each other; smallest on top and alternating branches.
7. Glue the wreath pieces inner circles together keeping placement. Glue the combined wreath to the front of the combined bus; centering it over the center circle.
8. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined bus to the front of the card base; centering it. Finish with a bow on the wreath:)

Poinsettia 3D Gift Tag

This design can be used as a gift tag or ornament and is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces.
2. Fold all score lines. ( There are three sets of two for the flower - fold one in and one out in each matching set).
3.Apply glue to the front of the solid smaller square design piece. Glue it to the back of your Gift Tag base. (This piece is included in case you use double sided paper and need a plain surface to write on:)
4. Line up the points of the flower. Make sure you have one flower fold down and one up. Glue the center to secure it together.
5.-8. Apply glue to the flower edges and make sure the points of the flower stay aligned. Rotate the flower repeating this step until all the points are secured.
9. Repeat for the two sets of smaller flowers. Curve the leaves as you like .
10. Apply foam adhesive squares to the center of the two largest groupings of flowers.
11. Center the three flowers staggering the petals and secure into place. Curve the flower petals as you like. Glue the flower onto the gift tag base.( I used another foam adhesive square to give more dimension). 
12. Finish with a ribbon and adhesive jewels in the center of your flower:)
