Frankenstein Candy Pocket


Frankenstein Candy Pocket-JMR

Finished Pocket Outside Dimensions: W 4.25” x H 5.25” 

Finished Pocket Inside Dimensions: W 3” x H 5.25”


Fill this cute pocket with your favorite candy bar or snack sized candies. The pocket’s super easy construction makes it perfect for parties or to hand out for Halloween treats. This design is compatible with 8x12 or 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock)

2. Glue the black hair piece to the top portion of the pocket base. Glue the side accents to the coordinating shapes on either side of the pocket base.

3. Flip the pocket base over as shown. Fold the tabs inward. Apply glue to the tabs and secure the lower panel to the tabs. 

4. Glue the eyes and smile into place and attach a ribbon to the bottom center.

5. Fill the pocket with a candy bar or snack sized treats.

2. Glue the orange rectangle to the top portion of the pocket base.

3. Flip the pocket base over as shown. Fold the tabs inward. Apply glue to the tabs and secure the lower panel to the tabs. 

4. This is what it should look like:)

5. Glue the eyes and smile into place.

6. Attach ribbon to the top.

7. Fill the pocket with a candy bar or snack sized treats.

Lion Basket

Lion Basket-JMR Approximate Completed Design size: W 5.25” x D 3” x H 6” (including handle) Approximate Box Dimensions: W 3” X D 2.5” X H 2.5”

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock)

2. Flip the basket base over as shown and fold score lines on the basket base.  Glue the Lion face with eye holes to the solid lion face. Glue the solid black back paws to the solid yellow paws; centering them.

3. Apply glue to the two top tabs on the basket base and attach to the center box.

4. Repeat for the lower two tabs; creating a box.

5. Your box should look like this.

6. Attach the two mane pieces together with a foam adhesive square. Attach the nose to the muzzle piece and the top of the tail to the tail base with a foam adhesive square.

7. Use foam adhesives squares to attach the combined mane to the center of the lion face on the box base. Glue the paw prints to the combined paw prints. Use foam adhesives squares to attach the combined muzzle to the combined lion head.

8. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined lion head to the combined mane on the box base.

9. Turning the box base around, Attach the combined paws and combined tail with foam adhesive squares.

10. Insert the handle into the slots on either side of the box base.

11. -12. I used enamel adhesive jewels to accentuate the eyes and finished with a ribbon:)

Bulldog Pup Hug Gift Card Holder




Bulldog Pup Hug Gift Card Holder-JMRush
Approximate Card size: 4” x 6” 

This card features character arms that open to release a hidden gift card section. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided cardstock for the card base) There is a small tail not shown in this tutorial that can be attached to the backside of the gift card if desired:)
2. Fold the card along score lines. Glue the face piece with holes to the coordinating solid face shape (black). Glue the small chin (gray) to the coordinating shape on the solid combined face shape. Glue the small black circle eyes to the slightly larger brown circle eyes; aligning the holes.
3. Apply glue the bottom of the side tabs on the card base. Secure by folding upward toward the card base.
4. Attach the muzzle and ear pieces to the combined solid face with foam adhesive squares. Glue the combined eyes to the larger white solid eyes.
5. Glue the combined eyes into place and attach the nose with a piece of foam adhesive square.
6. Glue the small eyebrow lines to the combined face.
7. Using foam adhesive squares attach the combined face to the gift card holder base.
8. The gift card can be inserted into the pocket of the card base and the hands tuck into the slots on the front. Finish with ribbon:)

Bear Flowers Basket

1 .Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock)
2. Flip the basket base over and fold score lines on the basket base. Use foam adhesives squares to attach the bear face to the solid bear face.
3. Use foam adhesives squares to attach the now to the combined bear face. Glue the paw prints to the solid paw print bases. Use foam adhesives squares to attach the smaller front paws to the larger front paws.
4. Apply glue to the two top tabs on the basket base and attach to the center box.
5. Repeat for the lower two tabs; creating a box. 
6. Attach foam adhesive squares to the back of the combined bear head and attach to the coordinating shape on the basket.
7. Use foam adhesives squares to attach the combined front paws to the front of the basket.

8. Flip the basket to the backside. Use foam adhesives squares to attach the combined paws and tail to the backside of the basket.


9. Insert the handle into the slots on either side of the basket base.
10. Curve the flower petals.
11. Glue the smaller petals to the second smallest petals;alternating petals. Glue the second largest petals to the largest petals;alternating petals.
12. Glue the petal sections together;alternating petals. Use adhesive jewels to accent the center of each combined flower.
13. Glue the two smaller flower groupings to the combined bear head.
14. Use foam adhesives squares to attach the combined large flower grouping to the combined bear head:)

3. Apply glue to the two top tabs on the basket base and attach to the center box.
4. Repeat for the lower two tabs; creating a box. 
5. Insert the combined rainbow into the slots on either side of the basket base.
6. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the largest heart to one side; aligning at the center of the basket base.
7. Using foam adhesive squares, attach two of the small hearts to either side of the large heart; aligning with the rainbow base.
8. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the middle sized heart. Repeat for the other side:)

4. Using foam adhesive squares, attach two of the small hearts to either side of the large heart; aligning with the rainbow base.
5. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the middle sized heart to the center aligning with the rainbow base:)
