I just made two for gift cards and also gave them a tea light. These are just too cute! LOve them!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like the file:) I am happy to hear that you used them as gift card holders. I had originally thought of making them for this purpose, but thought I had been releasing too many gift card holders lately;) Thanks for your support! Have a happy day:)

Hi! I Have just purchased this design from silhouette store can you tell me what the gsm of the vellum you used. thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi there and thank you for your purchase:) The vellum pack that I used is from the Paper Studio- 12x12 clear. It doesn't have the gsm marked on it. I am attaching a link to Hobby Lobby where I purchased it. Thanks so much! http://www.hobbylobby.com/Scrapbook-%26-Paper-Crafts/Paper-%26-Cardstock/Vellum/12%22-x-12%22---10-Sheets-Clear-Vellum-Paper-Pack/p/111222
DeleteHi Jennifer I purchased the other lantern as well but I am a bit stuck on what thickness of vellum to buy is yours very thick? I live in the UK, so sorry for all the questions xx
ReplyDeleteSorry I should have said I clicked on the link but no mention of thickness as you say xx
ReplyDeleteHi:)
ReplyDeleteNo problem at all.
The vellum is lighter than cardstock but heavier than copier paper. The package also says clear.. but I would describe it as frosted. I think any vellum would work as long as it is transparent enough to let the candle light shine through:) Hope this helps. Thanks again:)

ReplyDeleteI have a question are the bricks cut out or did your print them on velum and overlay them on red paper?
ReplyDeleteHi:)
DeleteThe bricks are a cut design. Have a nice day.

Hello, I purchased your file from Silhouette.com. Using it as a gift box for gift cards for my little neighbors next door. Question, if you glue the bricks down first then the backing, that would make it look slightly neater. Just a thought. Wonderful little project. thank you.
