Rose Gift Tag Card

This design can be used as an alternative to a bow on a present or a gift bag and is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock for the flower pieces) - ( I switched the color of the card base from a pattern to a solid white during this tutorial. The pattern was too busy for this project for me:)
2. Fold the card base at the score lines. Curve the flower petals and leaf design. I curved the two larger pieces downward toward the table and the two smaller I curved each individual petal inward toward each petals vertical center forming a circular shape.
3. Glue the two smaller petal sections together and the two larger petal sections together alternating the petals. 
4. I used a foam adhesive square to attach the two flower sections together and dabbed glue along the bottom of the center flower section to attach and curve the shape the bottom section to the top. ( This is where I decided to use a white card base:)
5. Glue the leaf piece in the center of the top of the card base.
6. I used a foam adhesive square to attach the combined flower to the center of the combined card base.
7. ( Optional piece for writing in case you have a double sided colored card base:)-Open your card and glue the scalloped piece on the bottom section of the card; centering it.
8. I looped a ribbon through the top opening of the card to finish:)

Coffered St. Patrick’s Day Wreath Door Card



Coffered St. Patrick’s Day Wreath Door Card- JMRush

1. Cut design pieces. ( I changed the color of the card base to green:) ( HINT: The wreath pieces are delicate and it works best to release the clovers from the mat and then the center rings:)
2. Fold the card base at the score lines. Attach the door with larger openings to the door with smaller openings using pieces of foam adhesive squares. Glue the small circle knob to the larger one; centering it. Glue the door handle panel with a key hole to the solid door handle panel.
3. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined open rectangle doors to the solid rectangle door. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the four small rectangles inside each of the openings in the openings of the combined door. Glue the combined door knob to the large door knob circle base.
4. Use a piece foam adhesive to attach the combined door knob to the combined door handle panel. Curve your wreath circles as you like. Glue the inside rings of the two large wreath pieces together and the two smaller wreaths together making sure that the leaves alternate and that the leaves stay free from glue.
5. Using pieces of foam adhesive squares, attach the two combined wreath sections together; alternating leaves. Attach the combined wreath to the combined door with glue where it aligns with the center strip of the combined door. 
6. Glue the combined door knob/panel to the combined door. Attach the combined door to the front of the card with foam adhesive squares and finish with a ribbon:)

Mermaid Hug Gift Card Holder

This design features character arms that open to a hidden gift card pocket. This design is perfect for giving gift cards for Birthdays, Easter, Valentine’s Day, or for any occasion. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats and fits most gift cards.

1.Cut design pieces. (I used double sided card stock)
2. Fold the card along score lines. Glue the mermaid face with eye and mouth cut outs to the larger mermaid head; centering and aligning at the bottom. Glue the eyes to the eyes with eyelashes; centering around the circular cut outs.. Shape the smaller flower with a center cutout and glue the center to the larger flower shape; centering and aligning the irregular petal shapes. Glue the larger bikini top to the inside of the card base. Glue one of the double hump mermaid tail tops to the inside of the card. Glue one of the small circle belly buttons to the inside of the card.
3. Apply glue the bottom of the side tabs on the card base. Secure by folding upward toward the card base. Curve the eyelashes as you like.
4. Glue the combined eyes to the combined mermaid head; centering around the eye out outs. Glue the small hair piece to the combined head; aligning at the top of the top face layer ( leaving a band of white (hair band). Insert gift card into the pocket. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the tail end to the coordinating shape on the large tail section.
5. Fold the gift card section upward and glue the small bikini top, last double hump mermaid tail top, and small circle belly button to this section. The double hump mermaid tail top will aligning just slightly under the folded gift card section. Use a piece of foam adhesive square to attach the combined flower to the combined head.
6. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the combined head to the coordinating shape on the card base and to attach the combined tail section to the backside of the card base. 
7. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the large hair piece to the backside of the combined card base; centering and allowing a small section to show above the hair band section. I used a small enamel dot to accentuate the center of the flower. The hands tuck into the slots on the heart piece to close:)

Dog Candy Pocket

1.Cut design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)
2. Fold the tabs on the dog pocket piece. Apply glue to the tabs. 
3. Fold forward and secure to the upper shape of the pocket. Glue the dog head with cut outs to it’s matching solid base.
4. Curve the tongue ( this is an optional piece ) as you like:) Use foam adhesive squares to attach the coordinating ear shapes to the combined dog head.
5. (optional) Glue the tongue to the combined dog head; centering it and aligning it at the bottom.
6. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the muzzle piece ( centering around the nose shape) and nose to the combined dog head.
7. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined dog head to the coordinating shape on the head/back piece; aligning at the bottom. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the pocket piece to the dog base with legs and a tail; centering and aligning at the straight edge of the bottom.
8. Glue the combined dog head to the combined pocket base piece; aligning along the curved edges. I finished with enamel dots to accentuate the eyes, a ribbon, and inserted snack sized Laffy Taffy in the pocket:)

1. Cut the design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)
2. Fold the card base at the score lines. Glue the Solid frog silhouette to the back of the frog silhouette with a mouth cut out. Glue the solid eye piece to the backside of the eyes with pupil cutouts.
3. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined eyes to the combined frog silhouette. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the second largest heart to the largest heart; centering it. 
4. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined Frog to the front of the card. Use pieces of foam adhesive square to attach the combined heart to the center above the frog and the single layer hearts on either side:)

Unicorn Centerpiece Card Keeper

The Unicorn Centerpiece has an open box area that can be used to hold classroom Valentine’s or Birthday cards as it doubles as a centerpiece:) This file could also be used as a small gift bag and is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1. Cut the design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock) ( I added to this file during the shooting of this tutorial. You will have two additional rectangles (see image 2), the box base pieces are larger, and there will be two large hair pieces:) I have also grouped the cut file in color sections. You can ungroup as you like:)
2. Two additional rectangles.
3. Glue the Unicorn head with ear, eye, and nose cut outs to it’s coordinating solid base. Glue the unicorn horn with cut outs to it’s coordinating solid base. Glue the thin hooves to the coordinating larger hoove pieces; aligning at the bottom. Glue the eyes with eyelashes to the circles with small circle cut outs; aligning at the small circle and curling as you like. Fold the two tail pieces at the score lines.
4. Glue the combined eyes to the coordinating shapes on the combined unicorn head. Glue the hair to the combined unicorn head; centering it. Glue the combined hooves to the front of the full unicorn silhouette and unicorn backside at the coordinating shapes. Apply glue to one side of the scored tail section and secure the other scored tail section aligning the edges.
5. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the oval muzzle piece with nose holes to the coordinating shape on the combined unicorn; aligning the nose holes. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined unicorn horn to the combined unicorn head; aligning at the top of the horn.
6. Use foam adhesive squares down the seam line of the combined scored tail section and attach to the coordinating solid tail base.
7. Use Foam adhesive squares to attach the combined unicorn head to one of the large hair pieces; aligning at the bottom center. Flip the full unicorn silhouette and backside over and glue the remaining combined hooves to the coordinating shapes; aligning at the bottom and edges. Flip both silhouettes back over.
8. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined head to the full unicorn silhouette; aligning at the unicorn horn and centering. Glue the second large hair piece to the backside of this combined piece to the coordinating shape. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the combined tail to the backside silhouette section; centering horizontal and vertically. Apply glue to the very right edge of the largest box base piece. ( Your box base will be larger than what is shown:) Align the center tab of the smaller box base piece and place it on top of the glue area; aligning at the score line. Allow to dry.
9. Like this:)
10. Fold the tabs at the score lines of the combined box base.


11. Apply glue to backsides of the top and bottom vertical tabs. Secure to the rectangular shape in the middle of the combined box base.
12. Apply glue to the backsides of the top and bottom horizontal tabs and secure to the inside of the box.
13. It should look like this:)
14. Two gray rectangles. Apply glue to the backside of each and secure to the narrow sides of the box base; aligning at the bottom (open are of the box is up)
15. Repeating for the other narrow side.
16. Apply glue to the entire white section of the narrow section of the box base and along the very edges of the gray rectangle.  Attach the combined backside/tail unicorn silhouette; centering it and aligning the hooves with the bottom edge of the box base. Allow to dry.
17. Repeat for the other narrow side of the box base. 
18. Attach the combined full unicorn silhouette; centering it and aligning the hooves with the bottom edge of the box base. Allow to dry.

19. I finished with ribbons and an enamel jewel in the center:)

Seal Handle Basket

1.Cut design pieces. ( The tutorial images may look a bit wonky, as I had to adjust some things after tutorial images were taken..sorry:)
2.Glue the seal silhouettes with eye and mouth cutouts to their solid bases.
Glue the heart noses to their matching shapes on the oval shaped muzzle piece. Attach the small hearts (arm flaps) to their coordinating shapes on the combined seal silhouettes using foam adhesive squares.
3. Using foam adhesive squares, attach the combined muzzles to the coordinating shape on the combined seal silhouettes.
4. Fold the score lines on the box base.
5. Apply glue to the tabs on the left side and attach to the seal silhouette panels above and below; aligning at the edges.
6. Repeat for the tabs on the right side.
7. this is what it should look like:)
8. Insert the handle tabs into the slots on each side of the box base.

9. Glue the combined seal silhouettes to the coordinating shapes on each side of the box base. I formed ribbon into a bow tie and used enamel dots to accentuate the seal’s eyes.
10. Cut three pieces of thread approximately 3” long.
11.-12. I used hot glue to attach the three threads to the seals nose and covered it up with the remaining heart nose shapes:)

1. Cut the design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)
2. Glue the Unicorn head with ear, eye, and nose cut outs to it’s coordinating solid base. Glue the unicorn horn with cut outs to it’s coordinating solid base. Glue the eyes with eyelashes to the circles with small circle cut outs; aligning at the small circle. Curl the eyelashes as you like:) Fold the card at the score lines and glue the solid head without a horn shape piece to the inside of the card base.
3. Glue the hair to the combined unicorn head; centering it. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the oval muzzle piece with nose holes to the coordinating shape on the combined unicorn; aligning the nose holes.
4. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the combined unicorn horn to the combined unicorn head; aligning at the top of the horn. Fold the card and apply glue to the top side.
5. Attach the combined unicorn head. I finished with a ribbon and a enamel jewel.

Glue the oval (ish) piece with tooth cut outs to the bottom section of the long mouth base; aligning at the center cut out oval. Glue the eyes with eyelashes to the circles with small circle cut outs; aligning at the small circle. Curl eyelashes as you like.
3. Glue the hair to the combined unicorn head; centering it. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the oval muzzle piece with nose holes to the coordinating shape on the combined unicorn; aligning the nose holes.
4. Use a foam adhesive square to attach the combined unicorn horn to the combined unicorn head; aligning at the top of the horn.
5.  Fold the score line on the long mouth base. Apply glue to the backside of the combined unicorn head. Attach to the top of the long mouth base piece; aligning at the bottom and edges. 
6. This is what it should look like:) Flip the box base over, like so.
7. Fold the score lines on the box base. Use foam adhesive squares to attach the teeth to their coordinating shapes on the inside of the Combined unicorn head/long mouth piece.
8. Apply glue to the two small vertical side tabs at the bottom of the box base.
9. Secure the two small vertical side tabs to the 1 inch (width) rectangles just above them. 
10. Apply glue to the very left corner of the horizontal tab just below the two side tabs that you just glued. ( My finger is pointing to the section in the photo:) Secure this corner to the vertical tab to the left.
11. Apply glue to the topside of the vertical and horizontal panel. Secure the final panel creating a complete box.
12. Secure the tab on the box base by tucking the tab on the inside of the box and feeding it through the slot. Apply glue to the underside of the tab and secure to the box.


13. Apply glue to the tab side of the box base. Flip the box base over and secure it to the large hair/mane piece; centering the box.
14. Glue the bottom of the combined long mouth piece to the top of the combined box base; aligning the oval cut outs in the middle.
15. I finished with ribbons, a enamel jewel, and filled her with Hersey kisses:)

Shark Open Mouth Treat Box

This box opens by lifting the character’s head to to expose the opening to the treat box. This simple to construct design would be perfect to hold your goodies for Valentine’s Day or birthday parties. This design is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats.

1. Cut the design pieces. ( I used double sided card stock)
2. Flip the box base over. Fold score lines on the box base.
3. Apply glue to the two small vertical side tabs at the bottom of the box base.
4. Secure the two small vertical side tabs to the 1 inch (width) rectangles just above them. Apply glue to the very left corner of the horizontal tab just below the two side tabs that you just glued. ( My finger is pointing to the section in the photo:) Secure this corner to the vertical tab to the left.
5. Apply glue to the topside of the vertical and horizontal panel. Secure the final panel creating a complete box.
6. Flip one of the small and one of the large fins over. Apply glue to the fin above the score line. Attach the coordinating fin with each. Once the fin has dried, bend tabs out a bit.
7.  Glue the open oval teeth piece to the coordinating shape on the long mouth base base.
8. Fold the long mouth piece at the score line and glue the shark head with teeth and small eyes to the coordinating shape on the combined long mouth base.
9. Apply glue to the topside of the tabs on the combined small fin.
10. Place the top of the small fin through the slot on the tail piece.
11. Push the fin all the way through and secure the glued tabs to the bottom of the tail piece.
12. Repeating steps for the large fin with the shark head with a slot.
13. Secure the tab on the box base by tucking the tab on the inside of the box and feeding it through the slot. Apply glue to the underside of the tab and secure to the box.
14. Apply glue to the tab side of the box base. Flip the box base over and secure it to the coordinating shape on the rectangular piece with two fins and a tail; aligning the edges of the rectangle.
15.  Apply glue to the backside of the combined small fin and secure it to the coordinating shape (tail section) of the combined box base.




16. Glue the combined shark head/large fin to the coordinating shape of the combined long mouth base.
17. Glue the bottom of the combined long mouth piece to the top of the combined box base; aligning the oval cut outs in the middle.
18. I used enamel dots to accent his eyes and filled him with Swedish fish:)

Arrow Heart

This design utilizes a pencil or two 6” Pixy Stix as it’s base and is compatible with both 8X12 and 12X12 mats. Great for classroom or office Valentine’s Day parties.

  1. Cut Design pieces.
  2. Fold shapes at the score lines.
  3. Apply glue to the backside of one section of the top feather (stoping at the score lines)
  4. Attach one side of the second feather to the area where you applied glue.  Allow to dry.
  5. Apply glue to the backside of one section of the third feather ( stoping at the score lines).
  6. Attach one side of the fourth feather to the area where you applied glue.  Allow to dry.
  7. Apply glue to the backside of one section of the first heart ( stoping at the score lines).
  8. Attach one side of the second heart to the area where you applied glue.  Allow to dry.
  9. Apply glue to the backside of one section of the third heart ( stoping at the score lines).
  10. Attach one side of the fourth heart to the area where you applied glue.  Allow to dry.
  11. Curve the two rectangular tab pieces. (I used the pencil that I used as a base to get the circular shape.)
  12. Apply glue to the bottom edge just under the slot in the rectangular tab.
  13. Insert the tab into the slot.
  14. Tuck the tab all the way into the slot and allow the glue to dry. ( I placed this piece back on to the end of the pencil temporarily to make sure it kept it’s shape:)
  15. Apply glue to the center of one of the combined feather pieces at the broadest center point.
  16. Place one of the rectangular tab pieces ( which is a cylinder shape now) in the center of the combined feather and allow to dry; aligning in the center and at the top.
17.  Apply glue to the sides of this combined piece and to the center cylindrical piece.
18. Attach the other combined feather piece; aligning at the edges. (You may need apply pressure to the outside of the center to make sure the second set of feathers adheres to the cylinder inside.)
19. Apply glue to the center of one of the combined heart pieces at the broadest center point.
20. Place one of the rectangular tab pieces ( which is a cylinder shape now) in the center of the combined heart and allow to dry; aligning in the center and at the top.
21. Apply glue to the sides of this combined piece and to the center cylindrical piece.
22. Attach the other combined heart piece; aligning at the edges. (You may need to apply pressure to the outside of the center and at the center end point to make sure the second set of hearts adheres to the cylinder inside.)
23. This is what it should look like:)
24. Place the combined feather piece on the eraser end of a pencil and the heart section at the lead end. Finish with a ribbon.
25.-26. You can also use two 6” Pixy Stix for the base of this project. You may need to squeeze the ends a bit to make them more pointed to fit into the combined feathers and hearts:)
